It's been very hot w/humidity here the last 2 days (even when the temp was suppose to be around 84 degrees)...felt more like a 100 degrees! Also, some sites #'s have been changed due to another rally being here.

Head for the Coast!!!

Gaffer: Myrtle Creek looks like a pretty nice course. I may run up to Costco and swing by there on the way.
Dan: I'll look you up.
Kristy: You can leave your cold weather gear home.

Hey John,
We need a new faucet! It won't be in stock in time for the rally though....

Wrong John.

That message was for John Kramer. I think he will know what I meant since he bought a new faucet not too long ago....

The Belettis have arrived! We got in (by car) from Portland, around 4 pm. Met most of the rally group at the Casino Buffet for dinner. Wow was the crab good!

Then I hopped the shuttle over to the campground and stopped by several RVs to say hello to Heartlanders.

Looking forward to the rest of the rally.

Thanks! The rally is going well so far. Lots of people have gotten the chance to meet Jim and Nancy for the first time. We have several who are here as a first rally.

People have spent the main part of the day visiting each others' sites, looking at the new rigs brought in for display, sightseeing, visiting the casino, etc.

We had a suspension and handling specialist (Hendersons Lineup) do a presentation today and then do free visual inspections on trucks and RVs for everyone in the group who wanted one. He and his team inspected rigs for about six hours and are sending a report to the owners by email with the results and any recommendations they have.

Guaranty RV hosted a steak and chicken dinner tonight and did a prize give away.

It looks like everyone is having a good time and learning from each other. Tomorrow promises to be another good day.

Thanks RDs for the well wishes. The weather here is fantastic and the rally is going well. As Kristy mentioned, Henderson Lineup worked their butt off crawling under rigs and Guaranty RV provided a fabulous meal.

We're meeting some great folks here, many for the first time. I'm looking forward to giving a seminar in the morning about the forum.

Someone contacted me on the forum about needing a propane alarm, and that person was going to be here at the Canyonville Regional Rally. Contact me in space 91 if you still want this.

Well,

So far the rally has been excellent. Last night we had an excellent meal cooked for us. Today Jim Belleti gave a good overview of the forum. I wanted to publicly thank Jim for helping me work two small issues out with my North Trail. Easy fixes and now I have good radio reception and good TV reception. It is excellent to be able to get together with such a great wealth of knowledge. In a few hours we will head to the casino for dinner, I am expecting to have a great time. What a great extended family Heartland has provided to us!

Zack and Kelsea,

Nancy and I love your parents so I was thrilled to have a chance to meet you guys! You're going to make great memories with your North Trail and you've already become an asset to the forum and the club. Coming to rallies and learning more about your coach, helping others with issues and mods, making friends is all part of the "good times". Thank you for your North Trail purchase and we hope to see you down the road, somewhere on the rally trail.

So - as Zack mentioned, we had a nice Forum/Club session indoors this morning. I suppose there were at least 20 attendees there with laptops, tablets and smart phones. I really enjoyed giving the talk and helping folks out.

Concurrently, a rep from SkyMed put on a seminar on their service and I think I saw people filling out forms afterwards. So it must have resonated with some. I was able to snag one of their donuts later too :)

I enjoyed walking around the campground, knocking on doors to say "hi" and catching folks on their patios.

We're looking forward to this evening. John and Lori have a pretty nice meal planned from what I understand. It's not in the RV Park - rather, it's over here near the hotel/casino in the convention center.

See y'all there!

Just returned from the Convention Center, across the hall from the Casino. What a meal! Lots for everyone including appetisers and dessert. Pie, carrot cake, pie, cheese cake pie and a mountain of whipped cream to cover everything. Salads including a jumbo shrimp salad, pasta with assorted toppings, chicken, fish, assorted veggies, and pie. Peach, apple, blueberry. Delicious!
Lots of door prizes and most of us won one. Lots of trading amongst the winners after all was over. Very gracious staff at the casino. Good thing they provided buses to and from the campground so no DUIs handed out.
Gaurity RV put on a delicious dinner last night also. Steak, Chicken, Potato and lettuce salads. Could be what we have done most here is eat. They had some beautiful new Heartland RVs on display of assorted sizes and prices.
This is a beautiful park. Level paved pads. Trees growing to provide more shade. Great showers and public areas. It will be a good place for us to stop on any of our trips south.
John do we have to wait until next year for another PNW regional rally? You did such a good job. . . . .

We have thoroughly enjoyed our time at this regional rally. The food has been excellant and we have had the chance to visit with old friends and make some new ones. John Dawson and his helpers did a great job and we loved seeing Jim again. Looking forward to our next get together. The Heartland Owners' Club ROCKS!!!!

Nancy and I just left Seven Feathers after a nice continental breakfast, good conversation and goodbyes.

We're on our way back to Portland to catch a flight back to the midwest on Monday morning.

What a great trip! We really enjoyed the extra days we spent in Portland and the Oregon coast prior to the rally.

John, Lori, Kristy, Mark and others who assisted - bravo to you. What a great rally. But seriously, how could you go wrong? The location, the venue - wow!

John - great job on the meals and door prizes - good stuff.

Thanks also to Guaranty RV. What a fabulous meal they put on for us - with a real chef and all! They brought a bunch of show coaches and their sales staff was so personable. Really good people and an asset to this rally.

And of course Henderson Lineup. If I ever needed services they offer, I'd use them in a heartbeat. What fabulous people they are. And my gosh, they went under every coach that signed up to inspect the running gear and are sending reports to each person on what they observed. What an awesome service for rally attendees.

Happy we made the trek out west. It was great to meet some new faces and visit once again with those attendees we already knew. And, what, 4 or 5 new members signed up for the Club at this rally. Woohoo!

Thank you attendees. The succes of this rally was your success and we hope you thoroughly enjoyed it.

Travel safe home everyone.

Heartland Pacific Regional Rally & Guaranty RV

We attended our first Heartland rally in Canyonville, Or. at the 7 Fearthers Casino/RV park on 8/10-12. There were approx. 35 Heartland owners in attendance. The majority of the rigs were 5th. wheel Big Horns.
The rally was well organized by John Dawson with support by many volunteers. As a result of our positive experience, we joined the Hearland owners club. The rally had a variety of informational seminars for RVers.
Of special note, Guaranty RV from Junction City, Or. brought approx. 10 RV units to tour. A special thanks to the Guaranty representative Vance Bufford and his staff. The Guaranty staff are knowledgeable and genuinely interested in the RV that meets their needs.
Both Heartland and Guaranty RV provided exceptional dinners on Fri. & Sat. Sundays breakfast of rolls and juice was just right.
We look forward to our next Heartland Rally:)

Re: Heartland Pacific Regional Rally & Guaranty RV

Thanks for making the trip Jim and Nancy. We know it is a long way to travel. Maybe you can make the trip in your RV next time if we can arrange a string of rallies for you to attend.

Its good to have you in the club djgarcia. Let me know if you need any help with the forum or your membership. Same goes for anyone else who needs help signing up for the forum or club.

Henderson's did a fantastic service to the attendees. He even found a problem before it caused a catastrophic failure. I know Marybeth appreciates that. We have had Henderson's do work for us in the past and I know we will have them do more.

Guaranty RV from Junction City were fun to have at the rally. They fed us well and worked hard to build good relationships with our attendees. We might not be in the market right now, but they will be considered if/when we are.

SkyMed also did a good presentation and were rewarded by having several couples sign up for their services.

Good job John and Lori and the other volunteers. Lots of people stepped up to help get things set for the activities.

Way too hot! Take that heat the rest of the way. We don't want it sneaking up here!
