Black Tank Flush Winterization

I was just thinking about winterizing my BH 3850. I realized that the black tank flush system should be done. What is the best method to do this?

Thanks in advance for your help.

All the best,

There are several methods to do this and this has been discussed several times on the forum. Do a search for black tank flushing.

Okay how about this, drain and flush your black tank, then use compressed air to blow out any water left in the flush hose, then close the drain, pour some anti-freeze into the tank, then you should be good to go. Sure others have their method as I live where I don't have to winterize.

That's the way I have used on all my units. Have not had any problems with any of them. I do pour some in the tank and leave some in the bowl. Canget a little cold in Pa. at times.
