Seems we see a lot of posts about the differences in how wires and plumbing are laid out, where converters are located, etc. And some folks (or a lot of folks) complain about the lack of standardization. Well folks, it's not limited to just us. A friend of mine sent me the postings summary below from the Mandalay Forum (Mandalay is a mid-upper high end motorhome):
"Great entertainment on the forum the last few days. A guy has a beeping sound in his coach and although several other members have identified his problem he can't find the "automatic awning" control box that it is coming from. Some have it in the basement, some have it in cupboards, and some even have it below the sink in the bathroom.
Must be the "gotcha" of the century for Mandalay. The guy is ready to blowtorch his rig to stop the beeping sound...he is winterized and parked and it is still going off.....pretty funny."
