back from warranty repair, but discovered wet carpet from the main slide.

We just picked up the rv from.crossroads and Kim at the front desk and Tim in the service area were super nice!

The problem is that we noticed wet carpet we got to our destination. When we opened the main slide, we noticed that the bottom carpet when the slide was fully out was very very damp. I think it poured over the past week while it was sitting there.

Does that mean we have a leaky slide? Should I call crossroads or heartland about this issue first?

Also silly question, but do you guys tip your rv tech? It was all warranty items and he was very nice, but I'm not sure what people tend to do. Give him a 6 pack of beer? That's what we do to out motorcycle guy every so often. We were in a rush yesterday and didn't even think about it until now.

Thanks.

I would definately call them and let them know what you found. Pouring rain or not....call them.

I tried to tip those guys once.....they wouldn't take it!
