FYI: Big Country Owners.
2011 BC 3450TS.
While doing a roof inspection I noticed a problem.
Where the rubber roof rolls over the side of the coach it is secured by a rail held with screws.
The rail is covered with a rubber or vinyl cover to hide the screws and protect them from weather.
I notice the rubber or vinyl covering on my coach had a crack the complete length of the coach, on both sides.
I contacted Heartland Customer Service to order some replacement material.
The man I talked with (Adam) told me there was a problem with some of this material from the vendor.
It seems that the UV treatment on the product was not up to Heartland Standard.
Some coaches were built with the inferior product before it was discovered.
Heartland is replacing mine at no charge.
It was being shipped today.
I'm letting owners know there is and was a problem and check your coaches.
I don't know if any other units may be affected besides the 2011 Big Country 3450TS.
Check your coaches.
