View Full Version : Not a Heartland Event But Might Be Fun

We made reservations for an event next month at the Mill Casino in Coos Bay, OR.

It just so happens that they are having an RV Jamboree co-sponsored by Guaranty RV from July 15-18, so we made reservations for that while we were there checking out their RV park.

The park is still very new so the vegetation hasn't grown up as much as it has at Winchester Bay, but the sites have wide paved drives and almost all are drive-throughs with full hookups. There is a lot to do close to Coos Bay that we want to check out, including the restaurants in the Casino and the overall services provided by the Complex. We know that Guaranty can put on an event since they helped a lot with our regional last year and their guys were a lot of fun, so that should be a plus. We will also get to see all the new HL products they bring over for the show.

Full event cost is $100 per person plus $25 per night for the sites. There are lots of activities planned a couple of excursions, plus some meals, so its not a bad value for us to try the place out.

Anyone want to come and play before the WA Rally next month?

We are thinking about joining you. What site are you in?

We asked to be near the dog walk (somewhere in the #84-86 range). They don't assign sites until arrival or at least the guy at the desk at the time said they don't. If you find out otherwise let us know.

I sent you guys a bunch of photos of the dogs. I hope they came through OK.
