Unfortunately the first attempt at uploading didn't work. Here is round 2. The first pic is what you see in the center of the patio awning. Photo two is the right side. You have to lift the end a little and slide it out. Photo 3 shows the arm swing down on it's pivot. Photo 4 is the lock/unlock lever for the arm extansion. Pull down the lever and the arm extends. There is also a button toward the end of the arm that you can push and extend the thinner part of the arm. Photo 7 shows the mounting point on the coach. Photo 8 is inserting the flip tab into the bottom of the mount. Photo 9 is the locking pin in position. I used a screwdriver to force it in. Had to use a screwdriver to get the locking pin out, too. Photos 10 and 11 are the end result.
I have the electric awning. Unless it is VERY windy, I see no need to use these support arms. The 2 arms that move the awning out with the push of a button offer more than enough support. If in windy conditions, I wouldn't want an awning out anyway.
