My sentiments exactly. A solution in search of a problem. A friend has electric dumpers on a Cedar Creek nod has had two separate malfunctions in a year.
We had electric gate valves on our Alfa Gold. They failed on 3 separate occasions and had to be replaced. As for me I would rather have the manual ones. As someone else said, it is just something else that can (and probably will) fail.
That is an item that I would not want either. What a mess if you could not dump your tanks. Worse case with a cable break is you could drop part of the belly pan and reach in and manually pull the valve at the body. With electric-what if the power is out?
