I have read and reread the manual and have not found anything on what the battery status reading "PWM" state means. This state of charge reads out on my digital meter. Can anyone tell me what it means. Thanks.
"PWM Charging:Traditional solar regulators featuring PWM (Pulse WidthModulation) charging operate by making a connection directlyfrom the solar array to the battery bank. "
Ok, then why does the readout say PWM when I have a MPPT controller? Is it over charging my batteries? Shouldn't it read bulk, absorb, or float? The unit is in storage and I just installed 4 6 Volt Golf Cart batteries so I am somewhat worried. I went out today and it was in Float stage. I still wonder about the PWM. I think I will call Morningstar.
