Trailer Backup Assist on new Ford F-150s

This looks like the beginning of something that might be helpful. I hope the F350 team is looking at it too.

Interesting idea....... I'm afraid I would have to put it in the category of one more very expensive thing to go wrong on an already too expensive a truck.

They could just put a sticker on the dash: " To back up a trailer....Place your hand on the bottom of the steering wheel... Turn wheel in the direction you wish the trailer to go" This could be an option, but of course they would probably charge $100 for the sticker

I see a lot of problems with this. Just like about ten years a go when GM had four wheel steer.

All ha need to back up is a good set of mirrors and on some rare occasions a competent assistant to guide back.
Thats one of my favorite things is to watch some one that can't back a RV up ---- try��

I'd like to try one

Kind of like joy stick steering on boats.
