I'm glad nobody got hurt, I guess I will pay more attention to owner manuals in the future. I never thought 130 lb of bikes would have caused this to fail.

I suspect the bigger suspension bounce than you get on a car/truck was the culprit rather than just the weight. The effective weight is magnified by the up/down movement. Kinda like the difference between a 200lb guy sleeping on a bed versus jumping on the same bed.

Bummer. :(
