Rear Bumper Carry Capacity

I have a 2017 28 foot prowler, and I want to add a bike rack with 2 bikes. How much weight can the bumper hold?

Hopefully you will get an answer to your question from another owner.
I think you will find that the bumper is not the best place to mount a bike rack.
It would be best if you could mount a rack or hitch to your frame.

It can hold your spare tire and that's it. Do not add that bike rack. You'll end up with the bumper coming off and the bikes on the pavement.

I definitely would not trust your bumper, without reinforcing it first, to carry bikes. Take it to a welder or have a mobile service come out and finished welding it on. The factory only spot welds it. Every bumper I have ever seen does not have complete welds. You will also need to beef up the way the tube is connected. Something like this:

IMO if you get a welder out you might as well have them weld some brackets on.
