Shortest Straw

Caught In A Mosh
I wonder who decided that horseradish dippin' sauce was the best dippin' sauce to go with them

Why not BBQ sauce or green chili

 :p

Dipping sauce!!?? You don't need dipping sauce! I grew up on a ranch and we used to slap those oysters on the rocks of our branding pit fire and munch on them throughout the day.

Good point on the oxygen during and after the poker run. I think maybe we will need a big pot of coffee afterwards also.

We will have a special gift from Phil & Mary at the rally. They won't be able to make it but sent a package home with us from Tucson for all of their CO friends. We had 5 of our CO chapter members there and had a great time. John D will update us on all of his escapades.

That will be some good campfire chat!

Oh . . . and let us not forget that those famous socks have now returned to Colorado . . .

Dan and Ann Mayer will be coming.

Arriving Thursday May 12. Departing Sunday May 15th.

Site # tbd per Cathy. Trying for 20-24. Assigned site 62.

Btw, mapping on post #1 appears to be wrong. Looks like the campground might be a few miles north of what's shown.

You are right about the mapping Dan. When I enter it in Google Maps it shows correctly, but when I put it on the event creator it gives the wrong location. It is a little farther North but is well marked on the Highway. I will play with it and see if I can get it to display correctly. Thanks

We are only 8 short weeks away from our first Rally of 2016. We still have room if anyone else is interested in attending and look forward to making new friends and greeting old ones.

We need those attending to sign up for the various items and activities for the rally. We need Pot Luck food items in the categories listed and for the breakfast on Sat. AM for the syrup, butter, and OJ. If anyone would like to assist in the cooking of the bacon, sausages, and pancakes your help would be welcome.

Time is going fast and we are excited to hit the road camping again. See you in Buena Vista!

I can cook, or share cooking with my griddle. We also have a Costco sized dry pancake mix, so I can crank the flapjacks. Kathy and I are still on Atkins, so can't eat those, but we will be doing low-carb versions that are also gluten free if anyone else is interested.

By the way . . . sign us up as a host site for the poker run . . . 'cauz it's ON!

Sarah and I have a large 2 burner cooker that we are bringing. It also has a griddle and a grill. If it can be used for any of the cooking activities, please let me know and I'll be glad to tote it over to where ever the cooking is happening.

Thanks Ronn, we should now have plenty of griddles. This should be a good time cooking for and feeding our group.
