Diassemble 50 amp connector end of cable

I assume you mean the twist lock connector built in to the side of the RV. I took mine apart at midnight a couple of weeks ago. I found that all the lugs holding the wires were loose. The hot had come completely out of the lug and that is why I lost power. Mine had four screws attaching the...

    Anyone used a HawksHead TPMS?

I have had the TST system for 1.5 years now. (Not the new 507 model) When it is working; it works very well. With the supplied extra "T" antenna, I can usually even get the signal from my BH spare tire. It does lose that signal occasionally. I have not been able to figure out a pattern. I...

    3055 Weight Distribution

I had mine weighed at the Goshen rally. The person who weighed it commented on how closely matched it was from side to side. I don't remember the exact weights (print out is in the trailer), but they were very even side to side and on front vs rear axles.

Big Horn 3055 ODS basement door latch

phoenix50 That is the ODS basement door on a BH 3055RL which is a side hinged door. Probably the picture is a little confusing. The picture with the latch shown is looking aft along the side of the trailer. The closed door is the propane door. If it wasn't for that door's latch, a shorter...

    Metal tire stems?

I talked to NTB about getting metal stems installed. The only thing they had was stems where the part that connects to the wheel is rubber that is pulled through the hole like a normal stem but has what looks like a brass end on it where the sensor would be screwed on. I tried to explain that...

Fresh water tank-using it the first time

If your dealer did not do it; you should definitely shock the entire water system with bleach to try and sanitize it. This is even done to brand new houses before first use. This should include ALL the water piping including the hot water heater, ice maker and supplies to all faucets and...

Big Horn 3055 ODS basement door latch

I hear you! I have big lime green fluorescent noodles on my bedroom slide and I STILL manage to hit my head on it somehow. It is still embarrassing, it just doesn't hurt so much.:o

Big Horn 3055 ODS basement door latch

Well, I finally got tired of being hit in the butt by the basement door while doing my husbandly duties of hooking and unhooking. (Sure wish DW would help, but that is a different thread:rolleyes:) I added a latch to hold the door in the open position. Used a 6" t-latch similar to the one for...
