I'm curious about the accident. What brand hitch did you have? Did it come loose during the accident? We went with an Hitch Crafter Air Hitch. It uses the Brinkley head. Hitch itself is made of 3/8" formed steel.
I can't see where it would be a big price increase. Already been stated they have a chassis that is 102" in a toyhauler. They just won't build it. I do live in a 102" wide unit. Soon as I step inside any standard width unit I notice it.
Correct. The hotel chain was also called that. Hotel won. On topic though, only issue stopping me from buying a Landmark is the lack of wide body. If you have never lived in one might be different. They look very cramped after living in my DRV.
Been looking at Heartlands site and little confused on this construction. The floor of the slide outs. Is it plywood with some sort of backing for insulation? If so wouldn't the rollers crush the insulation. Or is it laminated like the rest of coach?
Well it seems Heartland dropped the Mesa floor plan and it was the only one without the w/d in the bedroom closet. Deal breaker for me. Work nights a lot and that would interfere with sleep.
Insulation is a big plus for us. We are full time but I still work full time. I am a welder by trade and chase shutdowns. Almost spent the winter in North Dakota this year. Do they offer the "yeti" package with the BH?
