    Storing patio steps?

I may have to try mounting this to the ramp door, once I am out of warranty...

    ATF: Cyclone - satelite connection

I just learned this handy little fact the other day. In the master bedroom, check the cable outlet, there is a little black switch, connected to a red LED. This switch is for the antennae booster, and if it's on an external signal won't work.

    Storing patio steps?

Any chance Heartland would consider adding a boat style retractable ladder/steps permenantly attached to the ramp door?

4250 - improved under bed storage

We've had our 4250 for a year now, and had no idea the drawer was there. Not as much room as the lifting platform, but already being put to good use.

    Storing patio steps?

I'll be honest most of the time we have the rear patio setup, so the steps are in use. This trip however, we are in beteween houses. We sold the last house in seven days, and the new one wasn't ready quite yet, so 10 days in the RV is better than a hotel. Needless to say, we have a TON of...

    Storing patio steps?

I know this group will have creative ideas, so I am looking for help. We have '17 4250 and while I love the patio stairs, I hate storing them in the middle of the garage floor. Any ideas for alternate storage solutions? Can they be wall mounted, stored under the camper, bolted to the outside...

2016 Cyclone 4250 kitchen water faucet

Any tips or tricks to share? Apparently the faucet traps water in the neck, and shame on me for not opening the valve when draining my tanks. It really wasn't that cold of a winter, but cold enough and enough water the faucet broke clean at the base...

2016 Cyclone 4250 Triple AC units

That's what I thought, thank you for confirming. So given that I have the power controller my AC units should be independent correct? The reason I ask is that we have three thermostats, one per unit. The master bedroom AC stays on no matter what temperature we set. Honestly, I haven't had...

2016 Cyclone 4250 Triple AC units

Question for those of you with the selector switch on your 4250. Where is the switch located? We have a 2017 4250, and I think Heartland changed the selector switch to a Power Control System. If you have the selector switch do you also have an LED readout?

    backup cameras

It's prewired from the factory for the Furrion camera, with power cable and mounting bracket. So I don't think it's an installation issue. I think it has to do more with the construction of Toy Haulers vs Regular 5ers. Replacing the antenna was the recommendation from Furrion due to...

    backup cameras

That's the same unit I bought, and it won't connect from the cab of my truck to the camera. It's a common issue with large toy haulers. My 4250 is 43' 6", pulled behind a Megacab Ram 3500 DRW, that's a lot of aluminum between the camera and display.

13 feet 3 inches of tree tearing height

$40 for a gallon of flex seal, heck if it can turn a screen door into a boat it should be able to seal an RV roof! Just kidding, and I don't mean to make light of your situation, but if you need a temporary fix before a shop can get to it, it might be an option.

"Camera ready" statement on 2016 Cyclone ads

Thank you for posting the pics! I picked up a high gain antennae for use with my Furrion after it wouldn't make the connection from the 4250 to my Ram. I will admit I'm an IT guy, but I was debating on where to mount the antenna, the receiver, or the camera. Very happy to hear it works on the...

    backup cameras

I can't remember the exact Furrion model I purchased from Amazon, but it was plug and play into my Cyclone 4250. There is a separate monitor that plugs in via cigarette adapter in the cab of your vehicle. The camera is connected wirelessly to the monitor. Even though my unit claimed it was...

    2017 Cyclone 425

I thought that initially as well, however, if I had high hitched wouldn't it have pulled loose when I locked the trailer brakes and pulled forward in my truck? - - - Updated - - - I got a new Demco 21K Auto slider installed on Tuesday. That is seriously a beast of a hitch. Anyway, I was able...
