    My first Blowmax blowout: photo

We had our first Towmax incident. I know this is really beating a dead horse but I was an non-believer in the Towmax hype. I also believed it was mostly related to dual axle and not triple axle coaches (some of the dual axle coaches seem as big and heavy as our triple axel). I've seen people...

    Powermax TowMax tires

So many Towmax complaints with so little info. What is the date of the tire? What was the speed? What was the tire pressure? What was the weight of the vehicle? A four month old coach means nothing. It's a 4 month old coach - like built in May of this year? Or 4 months like you have had it for 4...

    Best Portable Camping Grill

Coleman Roadtrip for us. Love the griddle and pot burner accessories. Griddle to sear and then move over to grill grate to finish. Not many portables can split up your grill area to do just that unless it has 2 burners.

2014 drawers are no longer dove tail joined....now just stapled??

I think I'm gonna need some new tape.

2014 drawers are no longer dove tail joined....now just stapled??

Slightly off topic but speaking of veneer tape, is that something we can purchase from Heartland? Ours is completely splitting on the very bottom of the ladder for the loft. Granted I know this is from our kids not pulling out the ladder before they climb up, I definitely want to clean it up. Or...

Small change to A/C big difference in air flow

That's a good mod. I tried the same thing with mine and I did get more airflow on one side of the vent (closest to the new mod) but the opposite side (closest to air source) I actually got less air. Further investigation on the forum and from the Heartland User Guide on cooling and heating...

    New 3800 owner....

Enjoy your new Cyclone. We have the same model and year. Love it! There is some great advice here on this forum. Along with the monster list of items they will go through with you, make sure you get some good "hands on" during our walk thru. Check the stuff out for your self. Open and close...

3rd AC unit in toy hauler

Garage AC works well but as others have noted you can't run all three. If you do get the third, check how it is ducted. Ours is not. There are 2 ac ducts in the garage ceiling but they come from the other units. The garage AC has an awkward vent placement. One shoots out directly to the TV, the...

    Grey Tank Overflow

We had our first minor plumbing mishap this weekend in our 2014 Cyclone 3800. Went to bed after checking tank indicators (I know they are not the most accurate gauges but it gives us an idea of where we stand), my grey #2 read full. So I thought first thing in the morning I'll dump. Woke up to a...

    Black Water Odor

One thing we learned was to make sure you have water in your toilet(s) and make sure you have water in the p-traps of your sinks (just run the water for a few moments if for some reason it has dried/evaporated out.) The seal on our toilet bowl in the bedroom isn't as tight as it should so any...

Ordering a unit - any suggestions in general, options to add/delete?

switching out tailgates with rearview camera

Maybe you can relocate that camera to the rear brakelight in cab. The camera in the tailgate is pointless when hooking up (with tailgate down). The sensors in the bumper are enough for backing up.

Ordering a unit - any suggestions in general, options to add/delete?

Oh yeah, two other things. Number 1, It looks like the new 3800 got rid of the bathroom to bedroom door so that if you are in the main bedroom you now have to go out of your bedroom to go into the bathroom. That would be a deal killer for us. Number 2, we went with the dinette combo. We enjoy...

    Stove Ignitor

We just had to replace ours cause I turned the spark knob the wrong way and it broke off. $15 dollar piece for our Suburban stove top.
