I hang the bath towels on the curtain rods I had my husband install over the windows when I made curtains. The towels keep the light out so we sleep later. I also like the dampness from them since we are usually in areas with low humidity and I have dry eyes.
I bought a wire rack at Bed, Bath & Beyond and put the CPAP on it at nite next to the bed. The cpap is stored on the shelf that extends at the head of the bed in our 287RL during the day. When we travel, I put it under the blankets. Where do you put it when you travel?
I agree in California private parks feel safer. However, the state campgrounds in Oregon feel like private campgrounds. They are so wonderful and inexpensive.
We have a 2010 SUndance 287RL. We replaced the queen bed which was very thin and not comfortable. The new one is 60 wide and 78 long. They cut it down from 80 to 78 for us and it fits great. It's sure comfortable. We just went out for three nights and slept so much better. The thin one made us...
We purchased a new queen mattress for our 5th wheel and put it in today and made the bed. Can hardly wait to try it out tomorrow when we arrive in Patterson, CA, our first outing of the year. We've had the 5th wheel since last June and had three different pads on it but you could still feel...
We'll be at Olema, CA near Pt Reyes for Thanksgiving. We've celebrated the holiday at Olema for three years. The weather has been good. Great place for the grandkids. My husband does the turkey in the weber and family brings salad, pie, etc. Last year I went to Limatour Beach with my corgi while...
We have a 287 5th wheel. I'm a quilter and blew up the bed in the living room and laid out quilt blocks on it last summer when I was on vacation by myself. I put my sewing machine on the dining room table and it was so easy to put the blocks together when they were laid out next to me. Am doing...
We got our new fifth wheel Wednesday. I don't like light to wake me up. In our trailer, I purchased foam squares and covered them with flannel and stuck them in the roof vents to keep out light at night and in hot weather and they worked fine. The shower lid is slanted in our 5th wheel and the...
We pick up our Sundance XLT FW Wednesday. We've had a small trailer for three years and enjoy the lifestyle so are moving up. I can't wait to get the 5'er to replace the window coverings. I see there are rods in the bedroom so that's good. What have others done with their own personal window...
