Sulastic Shackles For Improved Ride Quality?

Well, they finally created a shipping label at least....... Hope I see the replacements next week. I had forgotten about the Morryde option. It's about twice as much money, but a definitely proven design. If this next set of shackles has the same issue I may have to make the swap.

Sulastic Shackles For Improved Ride Quality?

Well, the ride was improved for a short period of time. They have been on the truck for about 4000 miles but are now completely sacked out on the stops. I noticed this shortly after a 2500 mile trip towing the Cyclone. They say i got a bad/weak set, but it's been 7 weeks of phone calls, emails...

2015- Cyclone 4200 Options Changed and Deleted !!!

Never adjusted any of my screen doors in three trailers/21 years. I too would like to know where to buy G614's for $200. I'd buy a truckload, sell for $300ea, and retire!

    614 Blowout

Glad you got away with minimal damage. A fender is an easy fix! Did your dealer have any issues getting the old tire on/off the rim? I have mounted both G614's on my Cyclone and Sailun S637's on a customer's Bighorn and they were the tightest fit. Both have OEM installed Sendel wheels.......I...

Sulastic Shackles For Improved Ride Quality?

I searched around here for info on the Sulastic Shackles:http://www.sulastic.com/sulastic?pagenumber=3 from people who tow, but found nothing...... I have recently been irritated by the harsh ride from my rear suspension. I'm assuming maybe the springs have sagged a bit and am hitting the...

    Sailun S637 G rated

I just sold some to some friends/customers of mine for their BigHorn as replacements for the separated TowMax's. Although these were the first S637's, I have sold many med duty Sailun tires to budget conscious fleet customers. My recommendation is always an american made tire like Goodyear or...

    World's First Triple Axle 300C?

I was backwards on my math for the ratio! I figured 380lb per 1000lb loaded center in the garage with my wheelbase. Your wheelbase is at least 16" shorter so it should be a tad more.....closer to 400-410? Hard to calculate without a wheelbase measurement. The sway mine experienced wasn't out of...

Good to know where you stand! Kind of light considering the gvw don't you think? Could explain the tail wagging symptom some of us have felt.....

    World's First Triple Axle 300C?

I just layed down a carpeted piece of 1/2" plywood and all has been fine. If I was going to put all three of mine in the center of the compartment, I would have added something to stiffen it up a bit. The size of the 8D's is a nice fit for the front compartment. Check on the price per Ah of...

    World's First Triple Axle 300C?

I'll be interested in where your weights come out too! I bet yours is closer to the 2,900lb listed spec. than mine was. With the 7.5" the axle group moved back, the 9" shorter pin box, 8D batteries, and refer in the front cabinet.....I expected mine to be a bit heavier.

The scale would be easier to use with a standard trailer, but I just used a piece of flat plate set on top of my hitch, then the scale, and then set the pin on top of the scale.

    World's First Triple Axle 300C?

Figured I would update after I moved some cargo around to lighten the hitch up a bit. I got a Sherline Scale http://www.sherline.com/lm.htm so that I wouldn't have to keep driving to the truck scale to reweigh each time a change was made. So far I have gotten it down to 3,150 empty and 3,450...
