Just placed an order the other day through Richardson"s RV Center. Cost $37.71, I assume postage and handling.

Used to travel with propane on, but not now. Had a blow out last week on the left side rear. It took out the slide out wire flex guard, knocked all the wiring loose, didn't break any wiring, lucked out on that. Had it been on the right side it would taken out the rubber hose for the kitchen...

Being prone to fire, I myself would maintain the proper tire pressure at all times. It would save a lot of time, if you should have to move out in a hurry.

I used the insulating foam that comes in a can. You can find some at just about any store that has building supplies. Does a good job of keeping water out. Mice and other things to.

With the cost of diesel over five dollars now, we have had to revamp our travel plans. I can add a seat to the second cooler, and get a "Tow-Buddy" for the 5ver.:D Keeping the battery charged is a problem. :rolleyes: Have a great day!!! Packer

CA. San Bernardino-Redlands area was running $4.59 for diesel today. I'm a little puzzled, I was on I-10, keeping it about 60mph and was being passed by everything (small and large) like I was standing still. Packer

Yep, ours broke off on a long trip last year. I plan to put it back on, or replace it with something a little lighter. There is a mod. at rvpics., for a rail and it shows how the ext. is attached. I think I will try something like that...

Donna Doesn't look like anyone has done this yet. I'm sure it can be done, just don't know what the cost would be. I have been thinking about doing it to our unit also. Will get to the dealer or a repair shop some day and find out. Good luck, please post if you find any information. Packer
