Need suggestions on easiest way to run CPAP for 6 hours without 110 volts

CPAP dry camping We went West for 3 months last Spring with our 2011 Greystone 28MK, in planning our trip ,( knowing we would be staying in National parks and forest campgrounds) I realized I needed to do something to be able to operate my CPAP. So, after a lot of research, I bought a 1000...

    Winterizing...water pump not working....

I had a somewhat similar problem with our Greystone 29MK and found that I hadn't turned the valves completely and the pump wouldn't work. I was about ready to rebuild the pump when I discovered it. Good luck.

    Adding a ceiling fan

We went through the same thing with our Greystone 29MK. So, I checked with the local dealer where we purchased it. They checked with Heartland, first response was it was prewired for one. So, we ordered one. When the dealer went to install no wires or braces in place. A later call to...

ATF: Greystone - Greystone - Seat Tech Sofa

We had the same problem, but I looked at legs where the fold out portion rests on the floor, and found a large stack of spacers. So, I removed them to make the bed usable. We have a 2011 Greystone 29MK also.

ATF: Greystone - Bike rack on rear bumper

We went through this same decision making process with our 2011 Greystone 29MK. Factory said they would not recomend a bumper hitch, refered me to the frame mfg. and they said anything that I would do or have done that could be attributed to a frame failure would not be covered by a warranty...

ATF: Greystone - 29MK TV mount

We have a 2011 Greysotne 29MK that we bought last fall. So, before winter hit, I removed the TV by using the long allen wrench in the owners pack. There are 2 one behind the two "U" brackets. They are accessed from the bottom back of the TV. You can not see the the set screws but they are about...

Manual operation of Bedroom slide out

I have figured out that the hand crank connection for the kitchen and living room slides are on the opposite sides of slide out that I want to manually crank in or out, but how would I manually crank the bed room slide out in or out? I have a 2011 Greysotne 29MK. Thanks, Dennis1948

The tailgate was up and I unlocked the slider, set the trailer brakes and pulled the truck forward to move the hitch rearward into the maneurvering position. that is when the rear of the pin box on the trailer hit the tailgate. Upps. hence the inquiry. I think I will measure the distance...

    Tailgate interference

Dave,Thanks for the reply. The only thing that got damaged is the grey kingpin cover got chipped and some grooves in the plastic cap on the tailgate. I have been having trouble getting used to the backing in with the 5th wheel vs the 40+ years of backing a bumber hitch trailer and thought that...

    Tailgate interference

I tried to slide my 5th wheel hitch (Curt Q5 with roller) into manuver position to get into a campsite and "crunch" into the tailgate. Opps no one told me I had to lower or remove the tailgate. We tow our Greystone 29MK with a 2008 Chevy Extd. Cab Standard bed (6'6" bed). Question: Could I be...

    Electric Jacks

The same thing has happened to me (extending or retracting the legs to yhe limit). The Dealer gave 30 amp breaker that pluged int0 the inline fuse holder. So far no problems. I think I will use a marker to mark the legs as discussed. Dennis1948

ATF: Greystone - Water Heater - running on elect. only

On our Greystone 29MK, I would like to run the watr heater on electricity only. The only switch I can find to turn the heater on or off is inside the outside access panel. There does not appear to be one inside the 5th wheel. The lighted switch on the tank and battery level panel appears to...
