I have a Cyclone 3210 that I purchased a little over a year ago. Took it straight from the dealer to the scales. As delivered it had a pin weight of 2740 lbs, about 600 lbs over what the literature says. The empty trailer weighed 12,300, about 2,400 lbs more that Heartland advertises.

I too have a 3210 with the same problem, the rear screen will not stay down, and I didn't see anything that looks like latches or locks to hold the screen in the down position. Is ther anyone from the factory that can oprovide some insight?

Part of the weight of the trailer is carried by the pickup (the pin weight). Using the numbers you provided, 18,000 lbs gross vehicle weight for the trailer, and 5,200 lbs per axle, that means that the pin or hitch weight would be at least 2,400 lbs to keep from overloading the axles. The...
