It is with much disappointment with the first RV purchase we made that we recently chose to start over and buy new rather than used (and all the issues that can be associated with used RVs). We had hoped Landmark built or had plans in the very near future to build a similar floorplan to the LM...
My experience with NADA has been that it seems most important with the lenders. My point in this thread regarding NADA value was more directed to how it affects the buyer's ability to get the lender to finance the unit and how it will affect the terms offered by the lender. My lender IberiaBank...
Thank you Sandpirate69 for the comment and appreciation of my sharing of this information. Was beginning to believe I'm not well liked on this forum and maybe need to go elsewhere! LOL
First I do not believe that I "skewed the information" or have made it appear that my "unit wasn't taken care of and respectfully ask that you point to exactly where I did so.
Personally, I believe you have missed the point of this thread. My unit's issues prior to it falling under our current...
You are correct on what I did not point out on my unit. That information would be irrelevant in this post as I am addressing the buyers of brand new units and more so buyers of used units that still have warranty time left on them that transfers to the next buyer, if in fact it does.

We love our 2008 Mount Rushmore Suites by Heartland. They built an absolutely beautiful and affordable Fiver in this unit.
But, we were not and are not happy to...

The unit remained in good hands until shortly before our dealer bought it at auction and then only had it less than three months before we purchased it.
I simply asked Heartland if they could build us this unit new or if they plan to bring it back into production in the near future so that we could buy the same floor plan but in a new unit rather than used as we currently have.
In my case the with the limited personal credit lines (because I...
