Leaving the Heartland North Trail Family...

The end is near, the new Premier 31BHPR is in and we are doing paperwork. The height was not the only issue but the Premier has 3 inch axles vs. the 1.5 inch on the North Trail, this is a positive to me after hearing of some with bent axles. Good luck all, loved our NT 30QOK

Leaving the Heartland North Trail Family...

... after 2 years. I have loved our NT 30QOK for the last 2 years and enjoyed many trips in it. We love the layout of this unit. Unfortunately the ground clarence has done us in. We have a couple of other concerns, mainly the axles and the front shell of the trailer, problems like others...

Hot Water Heater overheats and breakers tripping

At most campgrounds we have been at we are good running AC and water heater but at a couple, the breaker popped so we went on propane for the water and all was good, it is just the campground power. Never noticed it overflowing but if it did, i would just say the valve is doing it's job.

    weather alarm

At first we put the volume down, then the annoying alarm would go off ifthe volume was down so we switch the skeakers off just like another poster. Now we leave the TV on for the dog so she does not have to deal with it. On the other hand, the radio has not come on for awhile, I played with...

    26RLSS 2013 Slideout question

Mine came with the tool to use, it was in the blue bag, I think the directions are there as well. We also have the tool for the jacks which we have used a number of times and something for the hitch jack. Good luck seeing how it all goes together.

Not Going to lie, pretty dissapointed with Heartland's North Trail product

Hi Nathan, first thing I have to say is why Friendly Beaver, I hate that place LOL. I have a 2011 30 QOK. We love the unit and I live at the outside kitchen but there are some issues. It is low and I did not think of that until I was trying to get it in the driveway and it bottomed out. The...

ATF: North Trail - NEED AC VENTS IN BATHROOM

If it is too bad, we leave the door open and hope you are not in there too long when you need the door closed. Other days we can leave the outside door in the bathroom open when the AC is on and we keep the bathroom door closed so we do not lose the cool air.

ATF: North Trail - Dimple / Indentation on front of travel trailer

I have similar marks on the front of mine, mostly up and down the edges where it goes under the corner molding but a number of others. Seems to grow each time we use it, traveling down the highway at 55-60 MPH. To me this just seemed normal, hopefully nothing is wrong.

    weather alarm

I would like to find a way to disable just the weather radio. Last year not a problem, just kept the volume off when not in use, this year since the volume is off we get a high alarm sound that drives us nuts. We leave the radio on sometimes for the dog but to return to the weather alerts is...

Clearance problems with front mounted spare on TT?

Re: Clearance problems with front mouted spare on TT? I took mine off, it dragged going in and out of the driveway. The back end drags as well so we have to drive on a pile of 2X10's to get in and out of the driveway.

    Rear Bumper Mounted Propane Grill

I guess it makes sense that if there was a problem they would not let you mount the grill on the side but I was always afraid that I would be the one with the problem.

ATF: North Trail - 2nd A/C in my North Trail 5th Wheel

Do you have a 50 amp plug or 30 amp? Most if not all units that have 2 AC's use 50 amp. If you only have 30 amp then it looks like there could be a little work.

    Rear Bumper Mounted Propane Grill

I have the quick connect at the rear corner of my North Trail, I looked at getting the bumper attachment but did not, currently I am using a small table. One does not leave the grill attached while traveling so bouncing is not a problem. The unit attaches to the bumper similar to a spare tire...

    Bunk in Bunk room

You would lose space in your kitchen and in some models it would lower the door too low to stand under. I have the 30 OKQ and the door is already low, my some thought he was going to sleep up there but ented up on the table on the other side of the room.`

    Spare tire

I took mine off and put it in the back of the truck, plenty of room there. It dragged in and out of the driveway.
