    2nd ac in bedroom

The larger 15K BTU air conditioner is ducted thruout our Landmark, including in the bedroom. So on many nights, that may be sufficient. It's only in ungodly hot and humid weather that you'd need the smaller bedroom AC (with or without the other unit). The units are relatively quiet and...

    living in a landmark?

The Landmark is well-constructed, with good R ratings, per the specs on the Heartland RV site. Then you want to be sure you have dual pane windows, 2 heat pumps, etc etc. There are lots of full-timers on this Forum who will weigh in on livin' in their Landmarks!

Brochure from Heartland for Augusta & Cape Cod

Just to be a smart --- , I'm sitting here 4 feet away from Jim Beletti, our wonderful Administrator. He's working on Forum issues , but I'm going to annoy him with all of our RV questions, sort of like a private audience with the Pope;) . KIDDING - Jim is sitting here on our porch, but...

Brochure from Heartland for Augusta & Cape Cod

REALLY nice !!! From seeing the Augusta prototype at the Rally this past Spring, I can honestly say the kitchen is one of the nicest! I didn't like the small bathroom vanity, but it appears that the Cape Cod's corner vanity is much larger ! Hmmm - wonder if they'll offer the best of both...

George now tells me the 'big' boxes are bigger than the dimensions I give, but he can't remember specifics either.;)

    Plastic boxes for under storage

We have all sizes, including some pretty big ones we got at Wal-Mart, with lids. We print labels for each end, so even though they're clear, you can quickly identify what's in them (e.g. Electrical Supplies, Hoses). We can stack them 2 or 3 high - we've got the pull-out tray in our "basement"...

    Lippert rear stabilzer jacks

My recurring theme....THIS IS THE KIND OF COMPANY WE WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH.....Heartland and their big suppliers, like Lippert, are top-notch in the customer support arena. Glad to hear it 's working out for you:)

    Stuff needed to get started

Hey, Ken and Kathy - is your water pressure impacted by the use of whole house filtering systems ? We've been told that 's a concern.... To the new RV'ers - CONGRATS! I have to agree with the advice to go to Camping World for supplies. Don't forget the black tank chemicals and 'special'...
