I got reminded of a lesson I learned along time ago.

Reminds me of the time when I was 9 years old that I took the top off of a beehive to show my little brother what the inside of the hive looked like. By the time I got home both my eyes had swollen shut. Haven't done that again. Have a couple of tasty beverages to ease the pain!

    Gooseneck Adapter

Re: Gooseneck Here is a link to a product that claims to be approved by Lippert. Maximum weight carrying capacity is 16000 lbs and lists for just under $1100. I still wouldn't do it and as noted above if you are interested I would call Lippert for confirmation...

    Safety Inspections... Fellow Texans

Y'all can drive any speed you want while towing in California. I was attempting to give members of this forum information on what the law in California says about the speed limit while towing. As a practical matter most LEO's will not pay any attention to an RV up to 65 MPH (or higher if...

My bad for mentioning the Commercial Vehicle Handbook as my source. 22406(b) CVC is in the general speed laws section of the California Vehicle Code and applies to ALL vehicles. As for doing things that are not normal, why do you think we left. Born and raised there and worked 30 years in law...

Well it’s that time of year again. Eliminate Drunk Driving!!!!

I have also investigated fatal traffic collisions involving a drunk driver. I have also been the one to deliver the message to the victims loved ones that they died in the collision. My condolences to Peter and Liane. Recently here in Idaho a recent graduate of our local high school was...

To answer the question about an out of state driver's license being valid in California. Visitors over 18 years old with a valid driver license from their home state or country may drive in California without getting a California driver license as long as their home state driver license is...

    Turning distance for Cyclone CY3612

Buzz Even with my 12 ' door I am turning just before the 60' mark I mentioned. How far I don't know. I would have to go out and hook up to see. But as I recall, when I see the ladder just start to clear the door I am beginning my turn. Here are some measurements for you. On my Dodge it is...

    Turning distance for Cyclone CY3612

Buzz- My Razor toy hauler has the almost the same dimensions as the Cyclone 3612. The only difference is that it is about 8 inches shorter. I tow it with a Dodge 3500 DRW crewcab. I went out and took some measurements of our shop (garage) which is perpendicular to the access road. We also...
