    2018 BH270-dead outlet

Also good to know. If a gfci reset doesn't fix, I'll have to pull the outlet to see any splices. A cursory glance under the sink only showed the romex disappearing into the wall through a much too large cutout.

    2018 BH270-dead outlet

It seems obvious in retrospect. That that's a gfci. I looked at it in the shade, black outlet, didn't see a reset, drove on. Camper has been retired to museum status at a lake 50 miles from house. Will report back in 5 days. Thanks for the tip.

    2018 BH270-dead outlet

Stupid me plugged a high draw appliance into the exterior outlet on camper. Now no power at outlet, or the one under the upper cabinets in the kitchen. (I assume they are daisy chained together. ) Power has been cycled several times, all fuses pulled and checked for continuity, all CB's...

    Now a bent axle????

The original configuration on mine was 3.5k axles on a 7700# gvw trailer. Now 6k axles. Granted, now the next weakest link is likely to show itself, but potholes of the magnitude you're hypothesizing weren't encountered. At any rate, I'm of the mindset that marginal equipment was originally...

    Now a bent axle????

Money well spent. Can't begin to fathom the replies here that said to " bend the axles back" they bent once, why wouldn't they fail again? I couldn't be more pleased with the replacement axles. Mainly because now I don't have to think about them. Now have about 2k miles on.

    Now a bent axle????

Trailer has 2 short trips (1hr to two local campgrounds) on the new axles. Here's what I found: 1. Trailer rear no longer scrapes driveway when leaving or entering. 2. Trailer stability at campsite improved. 3. Bigger brakes. Less gain needed on controller Of course, I should have expected...

    Black plastic ABS piping

Anyone familiar with the reason the builder uses the black abs instead of PVC? The abs seems to be more brittle, and prone to cracking.

    Now a bent axle????

2nd axle in. Took 1 hr, 15 min total this time. 1st one was about 4 hours with the welding. Job done. Now I get to figure out why the electric pump leaks.

    Now a bent axle????

Welded spring perches on and painted. - - - Updated - - - Bolted in, connected wires for brakes, torqued u bolts, and it's back on 4 wheels. Ordering 2nd axle tomorrow.

    Now a bent axle????

And for those who think this camper was overgrossed, here's the two tires off the same axle. Left rear tire is worn, tight rear is not. I find it hard to believe I ran over something that caused this without knowing it.

    Now a bent axle????

That's a nope on the springs getting replaced. At least for now. I inspected them for broken leaf's, and/or losing arch. This trailer wasn't overgrossed, unless clothes, food, and dishes did it. (For two adults and one 11 y/o). When I contemplated just a straight replacement, I just started...

    Now a bent axle????

This is a completely custom installation, and not done yet, so bugs are being worked out as it goes. Remember: the original 3500# axles, of one bent from some unknown event, are going away. I have custom ordered and test fit one of two 6000# axles. The old ones were dexter, the new ones are...

    Now a bent axle????

Received 1st axle. - - - Updated - - - Got old one out. - - - Updated - - - New one in, but lippert defaults to underslung axles. Camber is incorrect for axles mounted under leaf's. Need to get two spring perches and weld to opposite sides, and flip. - - - Updated - - - Aaand, before...

    Now a bent axle????

The dealer set us up on hitch alignment when we bought the trailer. Nothing changed there, and it's still level. It also rarely travels with anything heavier than a 50% black tank and clothes for 3 people, so not sure how I could have overloaded it. As far as calling Dexter, at some point I'm...
