    Hauling a 4 wheeler

Lots of people double tow a small ATV trailer behind their 5th wheels. Adding a hitch can invalidate your warranty, so maybe wait until your warranty has expired before doing it. A small trailer can be had for around 1000 dollars. Toy Totes are very nice, but pricey.

Popping noise - I've had it checked by dealer

Well, I have had my RFF in for about a month now, with many camp trips under my belt. At first, the popping went away. Now the popping is back, though much less. Always is the evenings. As a sidenote, and not sure if this affects the popping, but I have a hydraulic leak in one of the...

Popping noise - I've had it checked by dealer

I just got back from a 3 day camping trip. Before I left, I added a qt of RFF 7. No popping at all this last weekend.. Granted, I was camped on dirt, but before this weekend, I had camped on sand, dirt, and concrete under various temps from cold to hot. All times before, it always popped...

Popping noise - I've had it checked by dealer

OK, thanks guys for the advice. I will mark the current fluid level with a sharpy, and keep an eye on it. I haven't see any fluids outside yet. My bedroom slide is electric, by the way.

Popping noise - I've had it checked by dealer

Well, my camper is new, and as it turns out, was WAY under-filled on reservoir hydraulic fluid. In fact so much, when I successfully completed an auto-level two days ago, on fairly uneven ground, the slides actually ran out of hydraulic fluid. Hence another call to Lippert. Lippert told...

Popping noise - I've had it checked by dealer

This is good news. I just got a 2013 Bighorn with the 6Point and hear the popping noise, sometimes severely. I was worried about what it was also. Now that I know it is just the system adjusting to temperature change, I feel better about the problem not being safety related. It will be...

    backup camera

This is the OP. Thanks everyone for the input. I know about the Voyager and my be getting one. I ordered my bighorn late last year and have already taken delivery. FWIW, my dealer was somewhat clueless (or didn't inform me) of any ANY order-able options, beyond what is order-able on their...

    backup camera

Hello, I think a great option would be a pre-installed backup camera. With a video plug at the hitch. Thx!

ABS Hitch Cover and Mor/ryde Pinbox

That is OK. I figured as much, but was just double checking.

ABS Hitch Cover and Mor/ryde Pinbox

I received my Bighorn 2013 3670RL a couple weeks ago. I noticed my trailer does not have the ABS hitch cover, as specified in the "king of the mountain" package. Is this standard option deleted when I ordered the MorRyde hitch? Just wondering. Thanks.

slide hydraulics only work with Battery on

Yes, I have two switches. I think we figured this out. Thanks everyone.

slide hydraulics only work with Battery on

Oh, will that makes some sense. I have four slides and 3 valves. Maybe my bedroom slide is electric. Though the hydraulic slides make noise when I push the slide button and the battery is OFF (something is making noise, and I assumed it was the hydraulics, but it could be something else...

slide hydraulics only work with Battery on

Thanks Dave. I checked the valves, and they were all fully open. Just weird that the main slides will only work with the battery on. The motor makes noise with just 110 plugged in(battery switch off), but the slides don't move. But as soon as I turn the battery on, everything works just...

slide hydraulics only work with Battery on

I just took delivery on my Bighorn 3670 this past week, so maybe this is a newbie question. My bedroom slide hydraulics work fine with 110 power only (battery off), but the main slides do not work with just 110, unless my battery is turned on. Is this normal? Maybe 110 doesn't have the amps...

    New Bighorn owner

Thanks everyone for the nice welcome. We typically spend our winters near Corpus Christi, Texas, and our summers in beautiful Colorado. I will definitely consider the owners club.
