Check-ball in generator fuel supply line

My generator has always been difficult to start on my 08 3210 and really has never ran properly. I finally discovered that there is a spring loaded check-ball in the outlet fitting on the gas tank where the generator fuel line attaches. This check-ball should open when the generator fuel pump...

    Generator problems

The emulsion tube is inside the carb. When you remove what appears to be the bowl drain plug, the emulsion tube comes out. The altitude compensation adjustment should be turned all the way counter-clockwise for sea level. If the carb is clean and working properly, you shouldn't have to mess...

    Generator problems

Sounds like the emulsion tube and/or altitude compensation oriffice are partially plugged. My generator had the exact symptoms after I let it set for too long and the gas in the bowl congealed. If you're familiar with carbs you will find that this one is pretty simple and is very easy to...

    Looking at a 3210

Pinweights on these toyhaulers -- even a 3210 -- sure can get up there -- especially when the garage isn't loaded. My 2500 Dodge pulled and stopped my 3210 just fine, but just the fact that I HAD to use airbags made me feel like I was pushing the issue on pinweight -- hence -- the new truck in...

    Looking at a 3210

I've towed my 3210 with a 2500 Dodge CTD for several years. Never had any problems. I did add air bags and don't needlessly haul around fuel water and fuel tanks. Your 1-ton SRW won't have any problems handling a 3210. Just get a good brake controller and always remember you're towing a 33...

How long until your battery is dead?

My 08 3210 came factory-equipped with a battery disconnect (in the front compartment) I guess HL must had discontinued them on the 09s Jett

08 Razor 3110 Fuel pump timer

The timer on my Cyclone 3210 does the same thing. It worked OK for a few months, but won't work now. Looks like there might be some defective timers out there.

    Sewer hose storage

I always try to limit the amount of water (clean) left in the sewer hose after I flush it. I think (hope) there isn't enough water trapped in the hose to cause any serious problems. The little compartment by the handles is designed (?) for a real short sewer hose. Jett

    Sewer hose storage

No rear bumper on the back of my 08 3210. I keep my hose stored inside the compartment where the kitchen gray water tank release handle is located. Lots of unused space in there. A 20' sewer hose (with all of the fittings attached) fits without any problem. Jett

    Purging air

I have the same problem. My pump won't pick-up the water if the gauge reads 1/3 or less. I suspect the pump doesn't pull from the bottom of the tank and I also suspect the gauge isn't very accurate either. When the gauge reads 1/3, I've opened up the tank drain and some water came out, but...

Slideout rebuild close to being finished pics

Loco, Thanks for the info. I'll definitely keep a close eye on the sealant around my slide-out. I've had problems in that area -- not related to water intrusion -- so I'm being extra cautious. (Both of my rollers pulled loose from the coach side frame. Heartland authorized a repair that...

Just ordered new 2009 Cyclone 3210

RIO, I think you will love your 3210. I also gave a lot of though to buying one of the larger Heartland toyhaulers, but since we do most of our camping in state parks and COE partks, I didn't want the added hassles of maneuvering around 40 feet of camper in tight spaces. I also had a...

    Any Regrets

Based on my experience, I'd say Cyclone design and construction quality is better than most, but still has room for improvement. However (again -- based on my experience) Heartland is much better about standing behind their product than most RV manufacturers. I had some really bad experiences...
