I get better mileage with my 37' 13k+ Big Country than I did with my 8K 32' TT. I believe it has a lot to do with wind resistance. Because the 5er sits partly over the rear of the truck both setups ended up being about the same overall pulling length. I believe that the wind treats the truck...
I have the Big Country 3490 and have not experienced this problem. Tank fills all the way to the top and shows empty when the pump will no longer pump.
I always keep the full tank not in use turned off that way I always know when the in use tank is empty. I open the valve to the full tank and make it a point to fill the empty one.
That's is one of those times you wished you had a camera handy. I'm still trying to picture in my head how that would be done. Could you tell what kind of support structure was in place?
Scott, Thanks for the reply. I understand what you are saying about the coating coming off over time. In my case I bought my unit new a little over a month ago. Should I be expecting this to happen this early?

Forrest, I think you are talking about the level that mounts on the pin. I have bought one of these but have not yet installed it because I am not sure I am going to keep the stock pin - chucking issues.
