    Learn from my mistake...

I had the same thing happen on my Sundance 2900MK. I placed a 2X4 between the end of the slide and the frame of the fifth wheel on the side that was coming in soonest. I then had my wife run the slide in until it wedged the 2X4 and reversed what the cabinet door had done. It took a couple of...

    AC Vent Covers

Try this link www.dwincorp.com. I replaced the outlets in my Sundance with some vents from here. I had to enlarge my openings for the Supervents. This may be the size you're looking for. All the best.

    Landing gear slipped

Well, it was a nut. The nut had come off the motor side of the cross piece to the landing legs and the bolt sheared part way off. There is a gouge in the motor housing where the bolt rubbed against it. I replaced the nut and bolt and put thread locking material on the nut I replaced and on...

Do you recomend a slider hitch?

I too just went from a travel trailer to the fifth wheel. I have a Sundance 2900MK and a Dodge 2500 short bed. I was told I didn't need a slider and went with the dealer recommendation. I'm glad I saved the money on the non-slider. I haven't gone as many miles as many others on this forum...

    Landing gear slipped

I have a 2009 Sundance 2900MK with the non-hydraulic landing gear. I noticed that the non-motor side of my landing gear had dropped about 2.5 inches either as or after I raised the front of my fifth wheel in my driveway. Now the unit is sitting slanted toward the side that slipped. Could this...

Air Conditioner Outlets (Grills) - where to get them?

I must say the new vents worked well. I actually only had one rear vent and the two bedroom vents open. The cooling was great even in 90 degree weather. Next project is Roto choks or JT's to stop movement when parked.

Air Conditioner Outlets (Grills) - where to get them?

I installed the vents for the A/C yesterday. I had purchased the supervents. They're actually a little bigger than the OEM vents. Had to cut the ceiling holes a bit larger with a Roto-tool and redo the aluminum tape between the ceiling and the ductwork. All went well, and they work and look...

Air Conditioner Outlets (Grills) - where to get them?

Thanks for the replies. I took off one of the vents and on the inside it says www.dwincorp.com. I checked on their website and they should have what I need. Has anyone had problems with the bedroom area not getting cool enough due to the A/C being in the rear? Thanks. Mark

Air Conditioner Outlets (Grills) - where to get them?

I'd like to replace the A/C ceiling outlets in my 2900MK with outlets that will adjust the output of air as well as the direction of the air. I ordered some from Tweety's that I thought would work, but they were the wrong diameter (4" vs. 5 1/2"). Do you know where I can purchase outlets that...

    Kitchen sinks

We just took delivery on our 2900MK yesterday and my wife found out the same thing about the dish drainer. I took our old drainer and cut off the lip around the outside with a bandsaw. Fits like a glove now.

    15" vs. 16" wheels

I'm taking delivery on my 2009 Sundance 2900MK on the 21st of this month. It has the 15" wheels on it. Would it be worth while to have the dealer change to the 16" option if possible? What are the advantages? Thanks for your replies. Mark
