fuel line leak was just a few few behind the generator where it goes down through the frame. New hose in place, generator runs great again. Thanks for those who submitted advice.

Cyclone - Onan generator sucking air

Porthole, you advise dropping the coro-last on the left side; is that the door side or slide out side?

Cyclone - Onan generator sucking air

I replaced the fuel pump and filter on my Onan 5500 generator after I started getting error codes that the genset wasn't getting fuel. It ran fine for about two hours. Now I'm getting the same error codes. I took the fuel line off the carb and it seems like the fuel pump is sucking air. The fuel...

    Squeaky floor fix

Since the factory reps don't reply, does anyone know if the plywood flooring is fastened to wood or aluminum stringers? And do the stringers run lengthwise or crosswise? A question for those who have installed laminate flooring, if I install laminate would the extra thickness help stop the...

    Black tank doesn't fill

First, my gauges are not reliable for indicating how full my tanks are and I thought my black tank was starting to "burp" before it should have. So I emptied the tank, put a water meter on and measured how many gallons of water it took before the commode started burping again. Seems my tank is...

    Squeaky floor fix

My 2008 Cyclone 3795 has developed a squeaky floor just inside the door. I'm guessing the plywood is working loose below. Can I fix this if I remove the bottom cover or is there more to fixing this? Anyone done this already?

    Cyclone Clearance Height

I don't have any literature stating the clearance height of my '08 3795 and have found conflicting specs from various web sites ranging from 12'9" to 13'3". Can you give me an exact answer so I don't have to measure it myself?

What does Heartland consider normal recreational use?

You're not getting my point, I understand I need to keep up with maintenance. But I'm reading posts of guys making changes to their suspension and wonder why that should be needed. Is it because they are full-timers and put that many miles on their coaches? I use my RV about 180 days a year and...

What does Heartland consider normal recreational use?

The manual states that my trailer is not intended for permanent housing or full time use but for recreational use. That is pretty vague language. How many days of use per year is considered recreational? As for the frame and suspension, how many miles a year are considered normal use? What does...

    Axle weight changed/renewed from factory

It basically is due to the tires that used. Mine had 225/75R15 load range D tires that were only rated to carry 2540 lbs each. So they lowered the axle rating from 5200 to 5080 lbs. The new label they're sending out has the lower axle rating. Check your tires to see what load they can carry.

    Axle weight changed/renewed from factory

OK, that makes no sense at all. I have an '08 3795 and got my sticker two months ago. I called Heartland to get an explanation and they knew right away what I was calling about.

    Axle weight rating reduce

rideblue, That's about the same change as I made to mine except I went with 245's instead of 225's. Did you ever have the alignment checked? I wore out tires on 5000 miles also and I had front and rear axles bent. The shop said it appeared I made a too sharp of a turn as the right front and left...
