    Headed to Maine

We'll be staying in the Scarborough area. Trip is not until August, and we plan to check out the Lobster Festival. Maybe a trip to Acadia, and that's about all we've researched thus far. Any suggestions would be welcome! Thanks! Tom

    Headed to Maine

Thanks for the replies. I would prefer to avoid cities, and thought the GSP route would be a good option. I once made the mistake of coming through NYC with my TT in tow, don't recall exactly how it happened, but we ended up having to cross the GW bridge...that is definitely one of my least...

    Headed to Maine

Anyone pulled their camper from MD or points south to Maine? Would like to hear from anyone whose made the haul, and their suggestions for the best route, taking into considerations re-fueling stops, height restrictions, etc.. Thanks!

    New Owner -NC 33 QBDS

Looks like you have the same camper I do? - 331QBDS? Have you de-winterized yet? Here is a general to do list for the plumbing, and forgive me if some of this is unclear, I'm recalling from memory (also know there are a ton of good online resources for winterization and de-winterization): 1)...

Exterior fiberglass wall separating from camper; slide underbelly issue

Tried taking pictures, but just couldn't get my antiquated, digital camera to clearly capture the separation on the rear corner. Got some SikaFlex 505UV and Proflex RV White on order. My plan is to try to get as much SikaFlex into the gap to get some adhesion, and then seal it with the...

Exterior fiberglass wall separating from camper; slide underbelly issue

Thanks Ray. Your suggestion about the aluminum angle is what I was thinking, but I didn't realize I could apply it past the slide seals! I'm all over that solution. You mentioned Dicor - are you referring to the lap sealant, or, do they have some other sealant product better suited for what I...

Exterior fiberglass wall separating from camper; slide underbelly issue

Hello folks. I have a 2011 North Country Lakeside 331QBDS which my family loves. After de-winterizing this year, I noticed 2 issues: 1) On both of my slides, at the front and rear edges where the underbelly meets the exterior wall, I noticed water damage to the edges of the underbelly...

    Storage compartment leak

OK, Called the dealer. Long story short, they recommended caulking the windows, adding some more weather stripping to my storage compartment openings, and checking the roof for any cracks in the blobs of sealant, and if necessary apply some dicor rubber roof sealant. I don't have the luxury of...

    Storage compartment leak

Hi All, I have a 2011 331QBDS. Here in MD, we've experienced a few hard, long rains the last month or so. Went into the camper this PM to start prepping it for a trip next week and noticed the carpet was wet in the MBR (front of camper), on the entrance side. Specifically, where the closet on...

    2011 Lakeside 331QBDS slide issues

Folks, just closing the loop on this thread... Slides were adjusted and calibrated correctly. Now it stops where it should when bumping out and in. My rear slide had to be adjusted a 1/2" forward as it was not centered properly. Not sure how these campers make it out of the factory this way...

331QBDS Living Entertainment Center power source

Morning Bob, almost....in my entertainment center, the space for the TV has no power outlet for the TV. The closest one that I can see is in the cabinet above, but there is no access point for me to run the TV's power cable to it, other than me drilling a hole in the bottom of the cabinet base...

    2011 Lakeside 331QBDS slide issues

Bob, I agree, looks straight forward to me, and I feel confident and capable enough to give it a try myself. The problem is my wife has surrounded the new camper with an imaginary bubble that prohibits me from doing that type of service. She is afraid if I do it wrong, the warranty will void...

331QBDS Living Entertainment Center power source

Hello all, Purchased a 26" tv for the living area, go to put it in the Entertainment Center and realize the power outlet is in the cabinet above, requiring me to drill a hole in the bottom of it to run the cord up. I realize this is not "heavy lifting", but it floors me this wasn't accommodated...
