    Extended Warranties

Got Xtra Ride by Protective Asset Protection when purchased RV. Sold unit less than 2 years later and requested refund of unused premium as per literature. When nothing happened, I called and got quite an argument, saying I should have contacted dealer, even though their literature said they...

    ATF: Bighorn - padre44

Thanks to everyone for your input. I had found the motor and moved the slide some with my drill and the attachment that came with the coach, but it was terribly awkward and I didn't see how I could get it all the way open, or close it if it was stuck open, due to limited space. I knew there...

    ATF: Bighorn - padre44

How do I get to motor on a 2016 BigHorn 3570 RS so I can manually extend and retract? I can barely reach it on right side, but won't be able to fully extend it from there. We are leaving for a trip in two days and will need to manually operate until we can get a repair facility to come fix it...

ATF: Bighorn - Bedroom slide bottom rollers

My dealer just trimmed off some of the rubber. Poor design.

    ATF: Bighorn - Theater Chairs

We had one chair quit working on a trip in May. Still don't have a replacement in and we will have to take a different color since the ones we had were discontinued. LCI sure is dragging their feet and I'm not impressed. They would be much better off to put manual recliners in the trailers -...

SOLVED: Slides and 6 point landing gear shutting off

Re: Slides and 6 point landing gear shutting off We just started having the same problem in a trip to Maine. If a breaker trips, it stays tripped doesn't it? LCI says the hydraulics might be slower in colder weather, but in the high 40's to low 50's? Ours also cuts off in the levelers and...

Bighorn - Shower Faucet Adjustment -- Tighten

Also, be careful with the gasket when you put the cover back on. If it gets kinked then water will leak in. Too easy to do - I know from experience.

ATF: Bighorn - Shower door knob

The allen screw doesn't tighten to the glass, but goes through a small hole in the door. and into the other side of the handle. Mine has some type of plastic between the handle and glass, but it is hard to keep on while you tighten the screw. Probably not necessary because it doesn't do...

ATF: Bighorn - Shower door knob

Mine looks the same as yours and it is held on my a small allen set screw. If it fell out and you lost it, might be hard to find a replacement. If it is still there, just tighten it up. Will probably come loose again - mine has.

    power recliner won't recline

I tried to figure out how to disconnect mechanism from motor so I could operate seat manually for the duration of this trip. All wires were connected properly. I unhooked what I thought would work, but still couldn't make chair recline like a non-powered recliner. I found chair model from LCI...

    White rollers under bedroom slide

Mine had some of the rubber gasket getting caught and stopping the rolling. Dealer trimmed a little off and that cured it. Bad design.

Bighorn - Water leaking from AC vent duct

Re: ATF: Bighorn - Water leaking from AC vent duct High humidity will cause this because there is no insulation between duct and ceiling panel. Poor design but I don't see what can be done now. Should have put insulation between duct and ceiling during construction.
