I just made reservations. We'll be arriving on 9/24 and leaving on 9/28. Looking forward to seeing you all again. And, once again, even though we have a Heartland 5th wheel we will be camping in some other brand. A bit bigger then what we had last year.

The design of the doors was changed in 2010 / 2011. From what I read the problem has gone away with the new design. My problem is not so much with the faulty doors as the lack of customer support. Heartland would / should have better contacts with their suppliers. Does Kino care if I don't buy...

Nope. We have the light you are talking about and this whole is not that. It is approximately 2 feet in front of the step housing. Looks like I'm not the only one that has it. I'm not worried about it. I was simply curious as to what the heck it is for.

While I'm asking questions, I did find something rather interesting. I have included a picture of a hole behind the wall. This is on the door side of the coach just in front of the steps. If you look out this hole you can see the enclosure for the steps. Any idea if this is supposed to be there...
