Got the light out from the outside but no light socket connected. Looks like it has fallen out inside the cap. Going to have to pull apart the closet to get to the wiring.

The exact same thing happened to the DW as she was closing the bedroom slide after we had finished our walk thru last July on the lot. They fixed it and relocated the struts so now the door no longer comes in contact with the slide. We check and double check the door before we close the slide.

The DW complaines that there is no light switch on her side of the slide, this would take care of that problem.

I have a 2013 and I put the small box on top of the DVD player. I had to fish the power, HDMI, & the coax thru the top of the fireplace. The box fits perfect.
