My electrician friend thinks a loose wire was the cause. The RV is 9 years old and has more than a few miles on it. I replaced both the plug and the outlet box. Fireplace now works. My friend told me to run it a feel the box/ plug for overheating.
Replaced the plug and outlet box. I'm guessing that overtime a wire became loose and caused overheating. Fireplace still works but we will watch it closely.

I’m still having the issue. For some reason power goes off . Not using AC’s or anything drawing a lot of amps. I go out to the pedestal and the breakers have not tripped. Turn them off and then back on and the power comes back on—at least for awhile.. No specific pattern.
