    Tow rig tires

another vote for Michelin, we replaced what was on our truck with a set, we rotate them every 5K, we've put around 28K miles on them, and look like we can get another 28K out of them, but we're firm believers of max pressure (truck and RV). Like someone else said, they're pricey but we watched...

Cyclone vs. Road Warrior or Raptor

We looked for several years before we decided on our Cyclone, was actually very close to buying a Raptor (both very comparable) each have pros and cons. Raptor you get ceiling fans and what we've seen the last year (ours is turning 4 yrs old), but in our opinion the Raptor has passed the...

Word Of Warning to All With Larger Dogs

For what it's worth, a couple years before retiring, I took a report on a fella in the local State campground where he left a large dog inside while he went fishing for the day. His dog had been with him for years without any problems, that day it decided to lunge against a window, broke out a...

    Garage sofa

Kind of what I thought we'd do, was just curious if anyone had ever bought new coverings/if they were available from the manufacturer/if they had any reupholstered, etc. Thanks.

    Drivers side regulator leaking

Ours was leaking around the body, we replaced it, also replaced the OEM main regulator a few months later. No problem since.

    Garage sofa

Does anyone know if new coverings can be purchased from Heartland (I see they have a zipper so assume the foam interior can be removed) or has anyone ever had the sofa's recovered? Ours have sorta gotten a bit tattered (shall we say) thanks to a litter of 4 Silver Shaded Persian kittens...

Riding out a hurricane in an RV?

Just saw the thread, haven't read the other posts, but YES we did when in PA when whatever it's name was came through a year ago. We were evicted out of our 1000 trails in Hershey (really ticked me off at the time) we went to our job site and they let us set up there. BEST THING EVER HAPPENED...

    sattelite signal finder

We don't have HD Direct just reg Direct.............wow, is there that much difference? I go to Direct TV website, type in the zip code of the park we're in, and have a 9.00 compass from Bass Pro, our receivers are from home, (no RV package) and our dish is from a friend and on a PVC frame I...

    Larger oven

The 22" adds more storage. :D:D

    Larger oven

Terry, here's a couple pictures of what the outcome was. The only change "cosmetically" was the trim board between the bottom drawer and oven (that's basically invisible anyway) is I had it cut down to 1 and 3/4 inch, and we removed the drawer front from the drawer (stapled on) and moved it...

Is anyone happy??? I am really afraid we just made a very costly mistake.

I'm sure everything will work out fine. We have had several issues, but like I said all minor, and it's been a big learning curve for us, we've gotten alot of very useful information from this forum on how to deal with things, and when not sure we make a post and ask, we also have picked up...

    Larger oven

Terry, we've hit Camping World after camping world, passed up an oven when in TX, but the Camping world in Ft Myers (current location) had 2 on closeout for 50% off plus 10.00 off additional for no owners manual (like we need an owners manual), anyway total cost was 269.00 for the Amana 22"...

    Larger oven

Curious as to why Heartland continues to put that 16 inch oven in the Cyclones. We noticed that another very popular toyhauler has upgraded to the 22" oven. We purchased a new 22" sealed burner range/oven from camping world at 50% off and installed it in less than 3 hrs, and didn't have to...

Is anyone happy??? I am really afraid we just made a very costly mistake.

1st thanks for the service to our country and the support a spouse gives and things they have to deal with as well. Now as for the Cyclone we picked ours up in Dec 2009 (titled as a 2011) Our plans were to travel and winter over down south and be back in Indiana during the summer...

    Seeing Heartlands everywhere

We just had a new Cyclone HD pull into the campground in Florida. Talked to the owners said it was their maiden voyage, (still had all the stickers in place) they said they just traded in their Class A for the Cyclone. Congratulated them on "moving UP in the world". :)
