Not much you can do when it hails. If you know it's coming, maybe try a tarp or cover over the roof. I protected my 1970 Mustang with a canvas tent during a hailstorm when I lived in Colorado. We could hear the hail coming...only had a few minutes to get it covered. Ended up with only two...
If you don't need to use the tray for anything else, try mounting a roof top type bike rack to it for the bikes. It's much more secure and will keep the bikes from getting banged up. You need the v channel type that have the fold down arms. Here's what I did...
I had the dealer remove the wallpaper border as part of my order. I plan on installing glass tile in it's place. Since I have the solid surface counter top, figured might as well go with the real glass/ceramic tile. The smart tiles do look good though and would definitely be easier to install.
My 22FBS also has the smaller door on the driver side. Since there isn't anything behind the wall, its just a matter of how the framing is inside the wall. I'd rather have the same large door that is on the passenger side too. I know it's in another topic, but a storage door for the slide out...
I have a similar problem with just the rear axle on my 22FBS. Just brought my trailer back from a long winter storage and found the rear axle tires are severely worn on the inside edge. We used the trailer 3 times last year and put in it storage. The last trip was a 1,000 mile round trip and I...
Picked up the camper after the minor repair items were done and talked to the Service Manager about the rear wall fiberglass. He said the Factory told them the rear fiberglass is not laminated to the subsurface and is only attached on the perimeter. Not sure why this is done that way. The...
Blends nicely! I bought some maple planks to make my shelves for the dinette corners, but haven't had the time to glue them together and then shape them. Hopefully, I can get to that project before the end of the camping season.
Mods are looking great! I like the shelf idea for the bathroom sink. It's a large bathroom, and there isn't enough counter space to sit anything down. Did you use maple for the shelf?
Finally dropped my camper off at the dealer. The Service Manager wrote it up but did not say whether he thought there was a problem or not. I assumed the rear wall would be vacuum bonded like all the other sides including the roof and floor. While there, I looked at an 'Elite' model of the...
Also thinking about a door on the side of the couch. There is a lot of room to store stuff but no real easy access. I know some of the models have a drawer on the front, but the flap that hangs down would be in the way. I have one more cabinet door to use.
Ouch!. We've been lucky and our dog has never torn out the screen. She's about 50 lbs so she wouldn't fit through the door. Not fun when you have to start repairs. I kept the 22" tv but replaced the tilt mount with an articulating arm so we can point it towards the couch.
Looks nice! We might need to make reservation there. We have stayed at the old iron ore ghost town campground Fayette S.P. close to Manistique, and also St Ignace S.P..
