Best way to get stickers off ?

I seem to be a little late to the party but, sticker removal is yet another use for WD-40.

    front cap seal

My Cyclone did the same thing. There is an aluminum band under the white vinyl strip that is popping out. The band is screwed through the front cap into the trailer frame. The real problem is when the factory installs the screws it does not use clearance holes in the aluminum band which causes...

What are you towing your Cyclone 4012 with

I tow with an '08 F-450 and it does just fine. Very stable with enough power( is there ever enough power?)mileage hovers around 8.0 to 8.5 when towing, 12 to 12.5 average when not towing. I can't imagine towing with an F-250 or 2500. A 4012 is HEAVY! Russ

new Heartland - what truck would be the best?

If I'm remembering correctly the pin weight for my 4012 is around 4100lbs empty. Once the motorcycles are on board they act as a counterweight and reduce the pin weight a few hundred pounds at best. Russ

new Heartland - what truck would be the best?

I have a 4012 Cyclone and tow with a F-450. These fifth wheels are HEAVY I would suggest getting the most truck you can. Towing one of these with a 2500 would definitely not be a good idea. Good Luck and enjoy your new fifth wheel! Russ

    water heater bypass valves!!!!

Sorry for the late response, haven't been checking the forum lately. On my 4012 if you open the cabinet under the kitchen sink and remove the panel on the right side you can access the valves behind the water heater. Russ

    YIKES! Mouse in the house!!

I have had great success with Downey drier sheets. Yes the ones you throw in the drier to soften your fabrics. It must be the scent they give off. I throw them behind drawers, in closets and under furniture. Not only will mice be repelled but even bugs and spiders seem to disappear.

    Extended range fuel tank

Here is a link to Transfer Flow. http://www.transferflow.com/toolbox_tanks_0.html It has been a year since I installed this setup, and as I recall not every manufacturer was DOT certified. This product has been flawless.

    Extended range fuel tank

I went with a transfer flow tank / toolbox combo. Installation took a few hours, and went very well. It adds 50 gallons capacity and has a computer controlled transfer pump that gradually adds fuel to your main tank as needed. There is a digital readout to mount on your dashboard to inform you...

If you use the fader control you should be able to fade away from the rear speakers.

    4012 electrical problem

There are many parasitic loads on the 4012. I found that turning the battery disconnect switch off in the battery compartment was neccesary. The second problem was that the RV came with one 12v deep cycle battery. I replaced it with two 6v T-125 deep cycle batteries wired in series to provide...

    2008 Ford F450 6.4L Twin Turbo Big Horn 3600RL

Our 450 is great also. We pull a 4012 and though you never forget it's back there, It does tow like a dream. I had a 2004 F-450 6.0 deisel cab and chassis with a custom made 9' bed made out of two 8' beds. The new truck is a definite improvement, except for fuel mileage. I'm most impressed with...
