120v on 30 amp enough for running a/c?

Thank you very much! I will be sure to check it myself before we plug in. If everything is ok with the voltage meter, I should be able hook up to his outlets with a regular extension cord which is connected to my power cord via a converter, correct?

120v on 30 amp enough for running a/c?

We stayed at my dad's this weekend and hooked up to his 20 amp breaker in his work shed. We have a 50 amp Elkridge and used a 50 amp to 30 amp converter. Everything ran fine until we ran the air conditioner. At the time I didn't realize the box was only 20 amps. Needless to say, it popped the...

Is it safe to run the refrigerator while driving?

I have an Elkridge 35QSQB model and was wondering if it was safe running the fridge off of the truck while I am driving? Not interested in using propane while I drive, but if that's the only way, I will. I have a 5 and a half hour drive and it's coming out of storage, so the fridge will not...

Elk Ridge 35 QSQB second tank flush

My apologies, I should have clarified that the second holding tank is actually the other black water tank attached to the second bathroom. It's marked "holding tank" on mine. It has a seperate release valve towards the rear of the rig and I emptied the black water but do not know where to flush...

No switch for my security lights

I am a new owner of a Elk Ridge 35QSQB and have searched and tried every swith in our rig to be able to turn on our security lights outside. Our neighbor looked and in their Elk Ridge it's right in the panel inside the coat closet with everything else. A friend of ours suggested that they just...

A few questions about my new Elk Ridge 35 QSQB

Thanks, olcoon. I looked for anything labeled security and tried all the switches. Still no light came on. Thinking of getting on the ladder and checking the bulb. Could be a bad one. I did find the propane fitting on the front. (Can't wait to hook that up!) The water connection looks just...

A few questions about my new Elk Ridge 35 QSQB

Thank you all for the great advice! Bob&Patty, I will have to try the dawn dish soap trick. We have been really paranoid about grease and such so that will help. I did find a $3 drain basket that was in the bathroom aisle in WalMart that fits perfectly in the kitchen sink drain! Looks like it is...
