    Caliber

Seems like the Caliber people could have posted something on this "factory corner" to let the owners know that Caliber will no longer be manufactured and something to the effect that there is no reason for concern about parts, support, etc? I'm pretty disappointed at Heartland's disregarding and...

    Dish Network problems

We have Dish Network & have not experienced any of the problems previously described. When I arrive at a new location, I simply call Dish & ask them to change our "service address" (as opposed to the billing address). I usually just give them the address of the RV Park & within minutes, we...

    Caliber Owners

Thanks for all the posts from Caliber owners. We have 2 1/2 ft. of snow here, just got the trailer driveway plowed & will travel to So. Cal & then AZ for the month of Jan. Can't take the cold any longer. Glad there are places close by with no snow & mild temps. We love our 315REDS. See ya at...

    Caliber Owners

This Caliber Forum is really quiet, very few posts. I wonder how Caliber sales are going nationwide? We love our new Caliber & would like to be in touch via this forum with other Caliber owners. Anyone out there with a new one?

    Direct TV or Dish Network

We use Dish Network & have had no problems. To get local programming, we call Dish, ask them to change our "service address." (I use the campground address) & then local channels are received. Changing the service address however, does mean that the "local" channels at home are no longer...

Caliber is going to become North Trail Caliber Edition

Still, I can't help feeling like I now have an Edsel or a Yugo.

    reply to thread

Glad to hear I'm not the only one who gets frustrated with this problem. I'm really not sure why they even have that "reply to thread" button - you're right, it just wipes the slate clean.

    Touch Audio has to go

My understanding is that the USB port is for charging the unit (IPOD) only.

    Winterizing

Latest update: I found the siphon hose on our Caliber 315 REDS. It's behind the louvered panel below the fridge. Removing the 4 screws exposed the hose & the valves. My previous posts may seem to be a little negative, but I am OCD & I think the owners manual could address some of these things in...

    Best Satellite Provider

We use Dish Network & are very satisfied. We bought the "VuQube" automatic antenna & are very happy with the ease of locating the satellite(s) & locking in, etc. I spent way too much frustrating time trying to locate & lock on to the satellites with an ordinary dish & tripod. Now the wife is...

overhead cabinet hinge pulled out of cabinet

I have had a similar problem with one hinge in our Caliber 315 REDS. I was able to fix it (with a slightly longer screw), but after a close look at the construction I agree that Heartland could find a better hinge setup. I also believe it has to do with the hydraulic strut being positioned...

    Particle Board

Cookie, thanks for the reply. Moving the mattress to change sheets, make the bed, etc. is now much easier with the plastic sheeting.I was unaware of the strength factor. Maybe the factory could/should install something like we have done to eliminate the problem in the first place? Duramax rules!

    Particle Board

Perhaps I could offer a suggestion for the Caliber people? The wooden base for the bed is made from particle board. Whenever I move the mattress, it leaves many many slivers of that particle board on the floor & also stuck to the bottom of the mattress. Needless to say, you don't want to step on...

    Winterizing

OK Ray, thanks for the info. I guess I expected to hear from the Caliber people themselves, telling me exactly where to find the hose, rather than a "search & listen" method. I do not know the location of the pump, but from the sound of it, it appears to be somewhere behind the fridge? I guess I...
