We are on our 3rd Heartland product. We started out with a 2006 Bighorn 3500RL, traded it in for a 2009 Landmark Augusta and recently we upgrade again to a 2021 Heartland 3120RK with full body paint. To be honest, we were actually looking at other manufacturers but this one was a left over model...
I recently purchased
Viair 450P - 45044 Automatic Stealth Black Portable Compressor Kit
I have not had a chance to use it yet but I hear they are very good units.
Well the covers are never really tight so they blow around. Typically they will rub in the roof membrane enough to cause problems. In some cases rubbing a hole through the membrane. There are other discussions about this on the forum if you search for them.
Check out this place.

Getting right into some modifications with our new rig.
While it seems as though I have a lot of room to work in, my poor body just doesn't manipulate like it used to so this installation took me a little over 3 hours.
First off, I was really glad to do this so soon as I found loose screws on...
We need some help here. We have a 2021 Bighorn with the three panel shower door. When we move the panels they screech something terrible. It comes from the wiper on two of the panes. Have any of you had this issue? What did you do to resolve it?
Thanks,
Mark
How many of you have a north-south facing refer?
I am curious if this creates more problems with shifting of the contents because of a possible hard braking situation when you are driving. It seems that most refer position in rv's is east-west and I was looking at a unit with one facing...
I recently checked into a Bighorn at a local dealer. The website said is has $24,000.00 in options. When I emailed to ask what the options were I received an attachment build sheet for this unit. The options are: full body paint and a Dyson vacuum. Holy crap! Really? Full body paint was usually...
so sorry to hear this . Prayers for the family.
Judy was a very nice lady. I remember her from the early days. First HOC Rally is when we met Tom and Judy.
Linda and I will be traveling to Winesburg on Friday the 17th. If time allows we would like to stop in and say hello to everyone. Hope all goes well and have fun at your rally.

Duane,
Yes I've tried it and it worked great lifting the hitch out of the truck. Just so you know I messed up and the converter is only rated for 30 amps and the winch is rated for 50 amps but I never intend to put such on load on it that I would have any problems. I may switch out the converter...
So I am finally installing a winch in my barn to help me remove the hitch from the bed of my truck instead of man-handling it. I have always had a table on wheels to put the hitch on and manuver it around in the barn but now it is time for some more help. BTW, I am borrowing this idea from other...
My wife an I just returned from that area. The intersection there at 39 and 77 is complete now with traffic lights.
We will be back in the area in June.
Hope you have a good turnout and lots of fun.

This issue for the OP is definitely disappointing. I hope Heartland will eventually help them out as I believe this is a manufacturing/painting defect. If I remember correctly, Heartland sends their units offsite to be painted by another vendor. For me, when it comes time to upgrade, I was very...
It has been a while since we've seen any Bighorns at local dealers. We now have a dealer close by with (6) Bighorns, most with full body paint. Very nice looking rigs.
