Suburban Furnace making noise like an air compressor

No one said it **needs** to be replaced except you, however the OP mentioned **if it needs** to be replaced once.

Suburban Furnace making noise like an air compressor

IMO, the first thing to check is the fan motor. Even tho is has "0" hours of run time since new, the motor shaft could have an elongated output bushing from weight on it, age, and heat. When an electric motor output shaft runs in an elognated hole, it can vibrate severely, and could make that...

    Garage floor thickness?

Your question was how thick your flooring is. If you have factory hold downs installed, then simply remove one. Then take a small diameter wire (like a paper clip) and bend a tiny 90° hook on the end....push it thru a screw hole, hook the bottom of your floor, pinch the wire at floor level...

    x-factor reinforcements ?

The extreme front and rear X Factors for our 2017 3 axle CY are the model numbers ending in "015". I didn't install the other 2 between them, so am not familiar with their model numbers.

    x-factor reinforcements ?

I can't imagine them using a 2" PVC pipe for just the genny's gas lines...did you actually measure the pipe, or just "think" it's 2"? Mine was smaller and the X Factor allows room for my PVC and propane line easily.

    Roof truss height

Just now installing a new vent into our 2017 CY. I slipped a flat scale up to the bottom of the vent base (already screwed down with a layer of butyl tape) and measured 5-5/8" to indoor ceiling panel. Disclamer....this is not a Bighorn, and I'm 99% sure the scale was against the vent base.

I used our CY 5.5K (45A) for my 5 learning starts....did a couple more cycles for good measure, then used our 3K and watched/listened.... incredible how it eases the compressor loadup! Looking forward to hooking a buddy's 2K up to our trailer for comparisons..[emoji4][emoji4].

    Hi from Quartzsite 2020.

We love it in Q....full-time boondockers that stay on State Trust /BLM Land every year in our secluded spot few campers are aware of. It is one of our favorite isolation areas to off-road in (all 4 quadrants) and take our X3 either on or off-road to the RV Show, Beer Belly's, Silly Al's, Q...
