I also disagree. I have the Ride Rites and a 5th airborne pin box that work well together. Anything that keeps all that pin weight from slamming down on the Rear of the 450 is an asset in my book. You want a real test, travel with an empty garage! You will have to play around with the psi in...
Re: Brakes locked up while backing
So the controller was sensing the constant voltage being applied to the trailer brakes and sent that warning message.. Not bad; haven't experienced that one yet.
I have seen them on occassion. If you happen to use a 5er to gooseneck (GN) adapter you have to use them as you are essentially a GN at that point. Pic #2 is of the loops that install on the universal rail system. Pic #4 is of the coupler used for GN trailers.

Niles & Deb, You know we were really looking forward to seeing that big ol' boy this year but when we didn't we knew something was up. It took a long time to finally ask Kelly where he was. He was a good boy & we know you both loved him dearly, as much as he loved you both. Remember the...
Kate & Dean, It was nice to meet the both of you Saturday evening. Glad to hear all is well with the truck again and we hope to see you at the next rally. Take care of that 3612!! Dave & Nona
Another successful Goshen event in the history books. Big thanks go out to all the support staff that made this a seemingly effortless event. Mark Comer's crew and 3-table concept knocked it out of the park; Kudos. Hats off to the charity coordinators this year. The service support teams...
I use the Blue Beacon Truck Washes. They have RV rates. They have 3 locations near you...Dallas, Ennis & Weatherford. I always get the Rain-X treatment as it helps the bugs sliiiide right off!
An alternative to the A/C unit is to consider installing a Fantastic Fan w/wireless remote in the garage roof. These can be set to operate at YOUR selected temp/humidity level. I use this fan to "pull out" the heat and with the door to the living area open, it will pull the cooled air in.
Try the Blue Parrot Bistro (LINK). You may have to park off the main street with those big trucks of yours! The Pub & Restaurant (LINK) on the square in the center of town is good, also.
I-81 S to Exit 70 (I-83)...I-83 S ((as you cross over the river (near Exit 43) you will see it referred to as the Harrisburg Expressway.)) The expressway becomes PA-581. Take PA-581 to Exit 5B (US-15 S). US-15 S to the exit for PA-116 (Hanover Road)...

I get on the PA Turnpike at Blue Mtn (North of Chambersburg). The toll for a Class 4 vehicle (19k-30K) with 4 axles to the Ohio line is 37.80 (29.76 w/EZ Pass). Calculator is here.
Welcome to the Heartland Ownership Family! That's a big jump from bikes & tents to a big ol' 5er! There may be a slight learning curve what with actual plumbing involved and all. There's always a friendly, helpful hand here on the forum. See you down the road sometime!!
It has to do with a rebate program offered to professional drivers and the rebates not being paid out. "Pilot Flying J CEO Jimmy Haslam said the raid is part of a criminal investigation into claims that the company failed to pay rebates to trucking customers. He denied claims that the raid...
Re: New NC Chapeter Member!!
Welcome to the club! Man you talk about cutting it close...you can attend the Regional Rally in Waynesville THIS WEEKEND!! Show off that new rig of yours, meet some great folks & have a blast!
Not only are pin weight and proper loading important but, the attitude of the trailer and truck to begin with is important. With an empty trailer, is your RW level? It may be that your RW is running "uphill" so to speak. Adjusting the the hitch height may be required. Also, it's important...
A word of caution: 2008/2009 was a transition year for the Cyclones. Does this 2008 have 15" or 16" wheels? If it has 15s this indicates that it has the 5200 lb axles . There were many problems associated with the 5200 lb axles on the Cyclones. If it has 16" wheels this indicates 6000 lb...
Congrats! That's my next choice but alas it's discontinued. What color did you get; red or blue? Will you be in Goshen this year so you can show it off?
Jaime,
Ours like the Beneful brand, but only certain varieties. Good thing is they have quite a selection to choose from and small bags just in case they don't like it.
