I see you got no replay but I will have to say it would probably be cost prohibitive. They are just under 2 grand as an option, hate to think what they would be outright.
If the TV wont work on surround sound you are going to have to run a audio cable from the AUX of the TV to the AUX on the receiver. Then select AUX on the receiver when you wan the TV to play through the surround sound. That cable is not normally supplied by the factory, however, your DVD player...
Here is a kick in the @$$! I ordered Goodyear 235/85/16G tires with ours as it is an option. They didnt get put on at the factory but they gave the dealer permission to get them locally. The dealer called me yesterday and the business that they get their tires from said there is no such a tire...
I cant even see two screws on this set up. The TV pretty much covers the whole compartment and I think you have to tilt it or pull it out to get at anything. It would not budge when I tried it. You can not get your hands behind it. Picking it up tomorrow and I am sure we can find someone that...
Anyone with the TV option in the bedroom? HELP! How to you unlatch the TV from the mount or pull it out to get to the connections? I cant seem to do it and the salesman didnt know.
Ours came off the line 04/09/10, just arrived. No digital thermostat. Good, cause I bought one and put in the toggle and its sitting on my bench waiting for installation. Decided to leave the digital in the 3055 cause I am such a nice guy!
I had a problem where I wasn't getting power from my shore plug. Was fiddling around and got a slight shock from the neutral or ground buss, cant remember which one right now. Changed extension cord from the 20 to 50 amp and every thing was OK then. Threw that cord in the trash.
Wow! What a difference Heartland has done in the last few years! Some things I was worrying about did not come to being. The bottom of the slides are done in a solid heavy black plastic material. No de-lamination is going to happen there. Every thing seemed to be put together a lot better than...
The rain took down our 3055 awning and we put up a Carefree Eclipse electric. Great Awning! We ordered ours with acrylic canvas instead of the common vinyl. Looks great and water drys out faster. It had an outside switch on one of the support arms so you can put it in and out when you are...
Tom, we noticed Dimplex put the controls on the bottom also. Ours has them at the top. Guess Dimplex doesn't realize old f@rts buy these things! Renee will be in charge of the controls. lol. Oh, I tried another brand with the remote. Worthless. Had to be about 6 inches from it to work, besides...
When we looked at the 3610RE at the Denver RV show they said it would take 6 weeks to get one. We ordered it the following week and they said they were 8 weeks out. That was just tad over 5 weeks ago. Dealer called and said it just pulled into their lot! Must of run out of Goodyear's as it...
I think this is the size it would take. 26 inch Dimplex if not it was the 30 inch also listed on eBay. I had mine out once and it is a pretty simple deal. See no way a weekend warrior can't do it.
We open the doors and secure them with one of those elastic hair ties, across the knobs, so they are just off the snap latch. Leaves a little opening and seems to work OK.
I believe there is a new option of having an aluminum diamond plate facing on the front of the trailer. You may want to see if you can still get it ordered if it is a concern.
 Brought our "06" 3055 home to clean it out to get ready for the new 3610RE and looked under the slides. The bottom of the slides are a solid sheet of plastic or some other material like the siding is made off. No way it would delaminate, ours looked as good as the day we bought it...
The one that doesn't seem to do anything is probably for the plug in out side for awning lights or what ever gadget you may have. Our 3610RE should be here in a week or two. This is our second Bighorn. Renee and I will go to the dealers and do our own walk through or PDI if you call it that. We...
John, guess I have to say your equipment bay looks pretty good compared to what I have seen. I think they are trying a little harder. You could have been lost forever in my "06"! Lots of extra wire, especially after the dealer installed the inverter and left about an extra 15' of 10/3 wire in...
Tom, I use Fire Fox as a browser so I am not sure about IE and I dont have the latest version loaded on my computer. Try Fire Fox. Bet you will like it. And its FREE, one of my most favorite things.
My option list shows the GY tire a $495 option on the 7000# axles. And $995 option for the 7000# axles with GY tires over the 6000# axles. Both excellent values per my opinion.
Our 3610RE was finished 4/09! Sitting on the lot waiting for some one to pull it our way. Drivers a little behind. Heartland is selling too many dawg gone trailers!
Went down to the storage lot and did some investigating. Those dirty rotten &^^%$#$#^& connected my 50 amp red/black wires together and hooked them to the AST 30 then ran a 10/3 wire set out of the AST 30 and made a pigtail to hook my two 50 amp breakers to the one black wire! You could hear me...
There were no batteries installed but there was a battery box in the side under the hydraulic pump and cables were going to the front compartment and there was another batter box was in there. I have two batteries on sales order so I guess it is a dealer deal.
Tom I would love to get the details on wiring it up as I only really need it on a couple of breakers. Have a drawing? Every schematic I see has has more detail than I need or doesn't cover my application.
On edit: I think the dealer did not wire in one of the 50 amp wires. Sure would be a...
I always did have to switch off the converter when I ran the inverter or the ATS would just cycle on and off. I think the original dealer "forced" the 30 amp ATS to work as I only see one hot leg.
I posted this on RV.net but knew there are lots of electric gurus over here.
I am trading fifth wheels and am taking the Xantrex X Power 3000 out of the old trailer that was dealer installed. Removing the wiring I find that the dealer put in a 30 amp ATS. The new and old fiver are 50 amp! Now I...
I had a truck camper that has the exact same pump as our Bighorn. I winterized the TC and took it to the storage lot. About 2-3 days later I remembered I forgot to disconnect the batteries so I went back to the lot and heard a humming sound. I had also forgot to shut off the pump switch an is...
We use to camp way back in the woods with out truck camper. Had some bears come by at night and we would turn on the scare lights and they would go away. Renee now calls 'em "bear" lights.
