Battery connection schematic, diagram or pic for LM365

If your inverter isnt working?, it is hooked to the batteries separately from the coach. Its hooked up in parallel to the RV You should two connections to the plus side, and two connections on the ground side. A side note, when on shore power are the batteries charging? Check with your...

    Black tank overflow

Lots of bleach water and fans. It most likely has gotten soaked into the wood on the floor and walls. Best of luck on that. Might consider calling in one of those after disaster clean up places for an estimate.

    Fair price

FYI, in this climate of post covid selling a used RV is going to be really tough. Last couple we sold took over a year to finally sell. And we sold them for way under book values, its the only way we could move them. Trading in does suck, but it is much quicker.

Hydraulics would only work one direction for Landing, Leveling and the dual Slide in Kit/LR.

Under warranty my pump was replaced for a small leak. I was told lippert doesnt sell any parts for the pump unit. Its an all or nothing replacement. Glad you figured it out.

    Floor Construction

Unless something has drastically changed, everything except the roofs are a laminated structure. Should be an aluminum frame work, with foam block insulation. Sandwiched under pressure with most likely usb plywood on top, and luan ply on the bottom.

2023 FUEL 5th wheel nothing but issues

The first year of owning a new RV , for me always has been fixing everything the factory screwed up. Its an undertaking cause the issues are mechanical, electrical, plumbing etc. Sweeping up all the fiberglass, and sawdust, extra screws, dropped wire nuts and the list goes on and on. I feel...

    Non-vented range hood?

My 2011 big countrys hood is vented to the outside. Might be just something to do with the floorplan not lending itself to be vented easily. Every heartland fiver I have owned was vented so far.

    Which truck ?

I have the about the same set up you are thinking about getting. I also came from a DRW 3500 RAM, and a 42 foot landmark(10mpg while towing). Honestly the milage is about the same, which is about 12mpg while towing. I will admit the newer RAMS get 20%(GEN5) better mileage(diesel) right off...

Lippert hydraulic jacks keep tripping resettable breaker

Yes, I came straight off the battery to the pump. You can by pass all the other circuits up in the front of the rig completely.

Furnace air flow not all that great

Recently had to have my duct work replaced as mice had moved into them, and ate them!. The runs are accessed via the basement wall being removed, thats where they attach to the furnace. The rest of the flexible duct work is accessed by removing the coroplast covering on the belly. Even with...

Lippert hydraulic jacks keep tripping resettable breaker

This isnt a new issue at all. My big horn, and eventually my landmark both had this same issue after about a year. I bought a 80 amp breaker, and wired the circuit for the hydraulic pump separate from all others (even the ground wire). Never had a problem since. But yes, a drop in voltage...

Does anyone know what this is?

Do you have a fridge with an ice maker, or in door water spigot? Thats what that valve was for on my landmark, was the fridges ice maker supply line.

    Which part to order?

Unlike a car or motorcycle where you can look up a parts in a specific catalog. These Rvs are are all built pretty much from the same parts regardless which brand builds them. Glad you found your valve, but you are empowered now to take care of it on your own.

    Elkridge wall repair.

I went on the heartland factory tours a lot back in the day before I bought our elkridge, a 2011 model. The side walls are the laminated type construction. The rear wall is definitely built up with 2x2s and plywood. As for where you would get some fiberglass repair panels, I havent a clue, sorry.

    Elkridge wall repair.

First off all the walls, roof, and floor are laminated pieces. Its a combo of aluminum structure insulated with block foam, laminated with glue under heat and pressure with fiberglass outer and luan ply on the inside. They arent built up out of 2x2s and screws. The back wall and any interior...

    Heartland RV Customer Service

I agree with everything you have said. But its not just heartland that treats consumers in this manner after the sale. I have looked at other brands, and the first thing I do usually is look at their blogs and forums. Even the DRVs which are like 5 times the cost of my RV, have a list of...

    Heartland RV Customer Service

On all three of the new heartland fivers I owned the ASV either completely failed or leaked. So I eliminated it all together. I now use a manual ball valve in the blank tank flush input line. This line now goes directly from the UDC, to the black tank. When in use I reach in, and turn it to...

    Concerned

The lights were dimming cause the heater was drawing down the +12 volts. I hope your handy, because thats what owning any RV calls for. I would be very hesitant to take possession if this is still flaky. Any electrical issues could be very dangerous.

    Heartland warranty for 2nd owner

That is true. The warranty is for the original owner only, no matter how old the unit is. It is unfortunately what all RV manufacturers do. So it is not just heartland that has this policy. Heck if the units brand new on a lot and has some defect causing water damage, good luck trying to get...

    Fuel mileage M210rb?

Pulling an RV is like attaching a sail to the back of your truck. In most cases its not the weight, its the wind resistance that gets you at highway speeds. Your going to see single digits for MPGs.

    Landing gear

Once you located the row of those small 50 amp breakers, you should replace the one that runs your hydraulic pump with a 80 amp. This isnt something new, there are tons of threads on here about this same issue. I have experienced it on every one the four heartland fivers I have owned. You...

Anderson Water Switch over valve issue

Nothing new on this issue. The brass versions need to be taken apart occasionally and re-lubed with the human safe plumbers grease. I used to exercise mine several times a year, just to keep it from seizing up. I also carried with me a spare repair part for it.

    Shower Drain Leaking On Floor

Ya if it was a fifth wheel all of the plumbing runs are accessible via the under neath storage area. With a TT, it is totally different. Honestly you need to find that leak, because water kills RVs.

    Water heater in the winter

Just so you know, you need to keep about 1/3 of those tanks full with the tank heaters on or you run the risk of melting the tanks. I had a yeti equipped big horn, and landmark and found it to be really of no use for me. Again only the fresh water line from the tank to the camper is protected...

    2015 Big Horn 3750FL

I agree with blasting that dealer, not letting you know what you were getting into is terrible. Also pretty much all RVs are built with the same components, so where you go even if they arent a heartland dealer isnt a big deal. There are some Utube videos on people replacing slide floors, but...

    2015 Big Horn 3750FL

Yikes, RVs are very much hands on for constant maintenance. The soft floor thing is a major undertaking, a lot of RV shops wont even do those types of repairs. First you really need to find where that leak is and stop it asap. Water kills RVs like crazy. There is a shop in the Goshen , indiana...
