Your salesman should have your VON/VIN. After that I just tracked it here http://www.ramforumz.com/showthread.php?t=179996 I ordered it on OCT17 and my original build date was NOV 3. My salesman called me this evening and said it is in shipping.
That forum has been very very helpful to me. one of the members gives me daily updates on the status of my new truck. Another member found an auxiliary gas tank for me.
With the Aisin tranny and 3500 the 3.73 is not available and I would have picked it anyway for better gas milage. A 4.10 is totally out of the question.
Re: CRAP - how bad did I screw up...
Chris I think you'll be fine. Several years ago we went to Phoenix with a dewinterized rig. We spent the night in Gallup New Mexico at a Walmart parking lot. The furnace was off all night. Woke up in the morning to snow and ice and a temp of 17 degrees. I...
Good choice, love that red. My RAM 3500 Laramie crew cab 4x4 SB SRW Aisin tranny Flame red over silver. It is in paint right now so hopefully it won't be that much longer.
In the past I always covered my rigs. On the last one after having it covered for about 3 months my dealer knew that I had it covered. No matter how tight you get that cover tied down, the wind will always get that cover "flapping in the breeze". Don't do it.
Don when I talked to RDS yesterday I told them that they are losing a lot of money by not offering a below cover tank. His answer was "we can't make them all".
Rrloren I called RDS this morning for the 3rd time. I was told that they do not make a tank for my RAM that will fit.
whp4262 ATTA does'nt make any gravity feed tanks which is what I wanted. However I did order the AT45RBR without the pump for $606. I'm having it shipped to a weld shop that...
Can anyone tell me if a 57x18x21.3/4 RDS fuel tank will fit a 2015 Laramie 3500 diesel 4x4 SRW SB. My concern is the distance between the front of the bed and the pucks. I have not been able to find a tank that will fit under a 3-fold tonneau cover. How many inches do I have to play with? Thanks...
When they first opened I stopped by and had a long talk with the service manager about getting service at their facility. I was told that he didn't care if I bought it off the internet or any other dealer he would be happy to work on it. Good to know since I live real close by.
Just ordered a 2015 RAM Laramie 3500 SRW 4x4 SB Cummins with 3.42 Aisin tranny. 850lb-ft of torque. I opted for flame red over silver. The Aisin is also available in a 3.73 and 4.10, but not all models. A nice option is the Auto-level rear air suspension.
We've stayed at the Broken Arrow Horse Camp twice now and love the place. It's about 4mi from the main drag in Custer. Very quiet, clean and the owners are very friendly. Don't miss the Needles Highway, it is a really pretty drive. Hill City, Crazy Horse, Mt.Rushmore and the Custer State Park...
I also only open one tank at a time. When it runs out, I know its empty to the last drop. I have been using the Truma level and have tried it on different rigs. I'm very happy with it.
I had the same problem when we did the PDI. The pads barely touched the ground and level up would time out. Dealer was unable to fix the problem after some phone calls to Lippert. Took the BH to Lippert and they merely lowered the jacks one hole. I would assume your jacks have several mounting...
