seen one setup like #21 in walmart Parking lot in Calgary, can.
Except it was mounted sideways on a 30-35 foot flatdeck trailer. about 1/2 way down deck. over axles. It was a newer type as it opened on three sides for beds and slide with kitchen stuff.
The back of unit (trailer) was rigged...
Ours can sleep 10
31qbs.
Yes the dinnette and couch do convert to beds.
They are 70 inchs long on all of them.
the queen beds are now 74 long. looking at floor plan I would say 6 people.
here's the link...
We have a 31QBS
North trail.
Second yr with it.
My problem was ripped lino from slide. Last Oct it was replaced by dealer and he cut the bottom of trim to fix the problem, and replaced the lino.
Over all we really are impressed with the unit and would buy anothner heartland product.
We...
this is what I made and also put stabs infront of tires
I made these. Cheap, light weight, stakes nicely.
I found that you also have to take some weight on jacks to help with movement.
here's my post and link to pics. I put some blocking just in front of wheels and took one turn on jack to...
local= verses, new/used/ travel
Okay Why I made my buy locally.
1) This forum and info I researched ahead of time
2) NorthTrail and Heartland are not that old. Warranty work covered or
worked on by my dealer
3) I do not plan and major travel for another 7 yrs(retire then)
4) Repairs with the...
any product that has LOTS of DEET in it
more DEET the better. That's why most kids stuff don't work. To weak of amount of deet in it,. most sprays are not that good unless loaded with the stuff
Deep woods is good, It's good and does not smell.
like being in 100 degree weather for 10 hours...
sorry i did not state that right
I meant that you do need a wdh, but only need to get a hitch that is rated for 10,000#.
you don't need to get a wdh setup for over 10,000 # as their worth more money and over kill(stiffness with bars).
I have had different tt and will not pull without WDH...
a lot of members have had problems
including mine.
Some have already replaced them with other makes,
getting ahold of Duro for help is hard as they don't get back to you.
Horrible tires and service
Use search for duro tires and you will get the info you need
yes a must for both
you only need to get a WHD for 10,000# load. (Class 4 or 5) hitch
this gives you a 1,000 # hitch weight, which you wont need, but if you upgrade to a larger trailer you have hitch setup for it.
they (factory) may of mixed up sticker from Pull trailer and 5th wheel.
This has happened at least once for another North Trailer.
Contact Factory and give vin and TT or 5th wheel model
They just openned the new building in the park.0-37 pics
they also reworked some building.
So for some travelling through and like this stuff. A preview

Yes tnhbush is right for towing and
stability.
No lightweight does not mean it falls apart.
It all aluminam( Never could spell that word, can't even pronounce it either ), Easy pulling.
Cuts the head wind with the sloped front end.
Tire scuff is probably the same as other trailers.
Just make...
Racetrack RV
Airdrie is where I bought mine.
Had it in for service there and they were great to deal with.
Don't know of what diff prices are up there or red deer.
Never took the time to look.
Red deer has one
Go to Heartlandrvs.com
They have a link to find a dealer.
On that link put in you postal code and type unit your looking for and it will give you a dealer or two, locations
Need more info
Go by the GVWR of trailer 6,900 #.
5084 dry equalies 400# more for tanks batteries etc, look at (5,500 lbs dry). you wil add 1,200# easily with supplies and people in Jeep
Dealers will tell you anything to make a sale.
( mine said the total weight is listed on trailer...
Have one would buy another
We love ours 31QBS.
There are light weight, good handling units to tow, very nice interiors.
Owned ours since Feb 2008.
ONE BIG PROBLEM.
WE CAN NOT CAMP ENOUGH.
The weather in the great white north, does not allow enough nice days to camp.
Yes two 30 will fit
Their only taller,
No cover won't work
You may have to move your regulator up a bit, or go with longer hose from tank.
I down sized mine on my old trailer. (30 to 20)but hoses where longer and did not matter.
20's are easier to fill, lighter,( when carrying to fill)...
Biggest problem is in the movement
Their made for your stick house.
They most likely would not stand up to the flexing on the road,
They may be okay if you have a permanent site and setup on.
should be 10-15%total weight of trailer
being said that.
GVWR= 6,900 lbs
10% = 690 #
12%= 828 #
15%= 1,035#
They say somewhere around those numbers.
Now the 21 footers would be less for TW as you go by total weight of loaded unit.
Depends on what they pack
But with the bigger trailer, stick...
The dinette cushions are all the same
There are a few of us that have that same problem with these units.
Thay are like sitting on the plywood. No support on them.
the rest are okay.
I havenot heard from anyone about them contacting dealer or factory.
Let us know what they have to say...
Safe way is from roof when hooked up
No other way to do it with out getting on top. As you need the air conditioner cover height and anything else you have sticking up from roof
and if your rig is setup higher then the next guys pickup, models, makes,2x, 4x as they will all be a bit different...
Maybe just me but
Why in limited space all these units have, do you need 2 bathrooms. ???
I would rather have that extra space for living. Put a small table and extra chair, for desk or space to work on.
my 2 cents
there are a few members that mounted on in their units
go to seach, on blue bar above. type in surge protectors, or progressive, and you should find some posts on them.
I deleted it
I did not mean it to point finger at any one
I worked for 2 different unions and both companies were for the goverment. This was only a joke and I'm sorry if it was taken wrong
I know 95% of all government jobs are stress full and some with a lot of time line pressures.
