I agree, drill and pin. Just saw a 5'er, SOB lose one today on the interstate. Driver made his wife get out as he stayed in truck to remove remaining hose from bumper. Real chivalry on Route 81 South in PA.
Sounds like a deal to me, I pay the shipping via Paypal or however you want. Can you give me an estimate of the shipping cost first. PM for all further communications.
Great Rally Mike and Jodi. Enjoyed the old friends and the new friends. This is what HOC is all about. A special shout out to the Mercer's for the "CUPCAKE."
I want to replace the original 2 separate battery boxes on my 2013 Landmark with one of the newer single boxes that holds 2 batteries. When I called Heartland they asked for box dimensions and/or part number. So I ask anyone who has the newer style dual battery storage box can you forward me...
So we went to a local RVZ dealership and inquired about replacement window hardware. The tech called the window that is in question our EMERGENCY ESCAPE window and knew exactly what I needed. Placed the order and the hardware should be here Monday. Damaged hardware removed and mounting prepped.
OK, so as my wife closes our double pane bedroom window last night she shows me where the locking/hand mechanism broke off in her hand as she was pulling it closed. Now we can not secure the window and without a secure window we can not travel. So I look to my fellow HOC members to help me...
Welcome to HOC and good luck with you new Oakmont. You did everything right so far but I would like to add that you need to hook a fresh water hose to the FLUSH for the Black tank when dumping. This is an internal sprinkler system that helps clean out the sludge and solids within the black...

Re: Water leaking from underbelly
I would check to see that your over flow tubes are visible through the frame or underbelly before removing any coroplast materials. Had this issue and it was the over flow tubes which pulled back into underbelly of unit. Correction was to extend tubes further...
Been using Wash, Wax All for awhile now on all my vehicles and I like the stuff. Easy on easy off and great product for all PAINTED surfaces. Another product developed for airplanes like REJEX and it does what it is advertised to do. Rejex once a year followed by Wash Wax All and she is good...
I been using Rejex for years and love it. Once a year application and then I use Turtle Wax car wash for all remaining washes for it does not remove any wax or sealers applied. Dawn is a degreaser and will remove wax so I only use it when I need to do roof.
Don't really need much more than about 15lbs of air pressure to blow out air lines. With that being said your tire inflation unit should be able to supply that.
In our case this would not work. Per local folk law if you keep your toilet lid open you will be constantly losing money. SO, with that in mind our lid is always down/closed. How do you think I can afford a LM!
I agree with tire covers to prevent UV damage. I always covered my first SOB 5'er and after first winter covered the cover it self ripped on seams from wind and on top corners from movement. My last BH and now my Landmark don't cover but at the same time they are stored in an open area with no...
I think one day a weekend at Rallies we should have a "MOD" day where there is a list of owners that want small MODS done and where the experienced owners help do such a thing, "BRILLIANT, I say."
